Why shouldn't I ??? I'm sure they've got better things do than spend 10 minutes typing up a thread, just to be insulted by people like you?

Out of interest, why do you advertise your debts on your signature - do you think that anyone is the slightest bit interested?

There are an awful lot of people who do that on MSE. Cant remember how it started off though.

You really must not look futher than the end of your nose, there are many trolling posts from people who sign up post once and never post again.

As for my sig, personal taste, it keeps me focussed on it. Again if you looked further than the end of your nose, you will notice many people have debts, savings and goals concerning both in their signatures. Thought you might have pick up on that, given the forum name, really suggests that money might be on a lot of peoples agendas, when signing up for the site.

I think thats a bit OTT. Theres nothing unbelievable in their post.

£100 is too much for a HDMI lead, but then again if the OP knew nothing about them, how would they know this?

    How about a £500 cable?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/TCI-Cables-Copperhead-HDMI-15m/dp/B002V9U5UI/ref=sr_1_310?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1288629451&sr=1-310

Not long enough? Its ok buy an extension

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/5m-Gold-Plated-HDMI-Extension-Cable/dp/B000JU9XZO/ref=sr_1_11?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1288629255&sr=1-11

So £100 is more than believable.

    Stop trolling.

Wow you too can use google and find HDMI cables for ridiculous prices well done.

As for trolling, who's trolling, this is a public forum where opinons can be given, I don't believe the rubbish from the OP and I'm perfectly entitled to say so. Don't like it, don't think I'm right, do I care, not really, life would be boring if we all agreed.

As you've seen, I'm new to this part of the forum - I just can't understand why people have got anything better to do than personally criticise and offend people. This wastes space on the servers and serves no purpose - lets stick on subject and help each other out.

Thanks for pointing this out - hopefully I'll b e back at work tomorrow, so no more forums.

Mmmm how do you know that £99 is a ridiculous price - you get what you pay for - why would someone pay over £2K (that's 000 for you) for a telly and then use a cheap piece of bell wire to connect the signal - the most important part?

Then why are you still posting? If you dont believe them then theres nothing for anybody to gain by you posting here. Ergo you must be trolling, as you could only be here to cause disruption for your own egos satisfaction. Go post elsewhere and leave people who do believe the op on here.

Yes i can use google, it just illustrates to you that these cables do exist, so your points about that being unbelievable are utter rubbish!

To be fair, if you dont know about the cables and how they work, you shouldnt be making comments.

£3 is fine for a hdmi, its works in binary (1's and 0's - or digital in other words) so it either works or not.

Its not like an analogue cable where a worse cable distorts the signal which is then replicated at the screen.

If a digital signal is distorted, the tv will know that it had to start as a 1 or 0, and so rounds it up/down to the nearest of these figures, restoring the information as it left.

Many tests have show absolutely no difference between £1 and £1000 cables for sub 5m lengths.

If I want to spend £99 on a HDMI cable, then I will. Yes it is 1.4 and ethernet aimed at 3D viewing. So i really do not give a monkeys about how you can get cheaper cables. I posted this a warning about the the shocking state of affairs of Dixons after sales service and not for fools to question me on my decided purchases.

    Here Here - Bravo

Is the advice about distance selling any use - I guess so as they are an internet company. Even if it doesn't you still have a good case and should be able to get a full refund.
