Was it boughtonline - if so I believe you've got 14 days to return it - no questions asked as it's distance selling - google it or contact consumer direct. Even if you bought it in a shop cotact them for advice. I'd get a refund and go to John Lewis - you can't beat them for price and service.

Ps Also speak to your credit card company if bought with one, as they may also be liable.
That would be wrong I'm afraid. The OP would have 7 (working) days to cancel under the DSRs.

ONE HUNDRED POUNDS for a HDMI Lead??

Holy Moly, it's a piece of wire!!! £5 tops.

Maybe it's being delivered by Parachute from a Lear Jet.

Does this reply do anything to answer the OP's question? I think not, so why bother posting it, other than make the OP look more stupid than you - don't you feel they feel bad enough?

Yep you're correct - Thank you - I changed it just before you posted - I wasn't sure - still - it looks like the OP notified them within 7 days.

I don't believe a word of it, far too vague and £99 for an HDMI cable, yeah righto, absolute rubbish.

I also explained that the £99.99 HDMI lead I also ordered, had not been delivered.

If you're not a troll, I have some pixie dust that I can sell you?

Too many people on this forum appear to judge others by their own standards - if you bothered to look at the dixons site, you'd find FIVE £99 HDMI cables - heres one - http://www.dixons.co.uk/gbuk/monstercab-1000hd-ultra-high-speed-hdmi-cable-2m-03081173-pdt.html

Why shouldn't I ??? I'm sure they've got better things do than spend 10 minutes typing up a thread, just to be insulted by people like you?

Out of interest, why do you advertise your debts on your signature - do you think that anyone is the slightest bit interested?

I think thats a bit OTT. Theres nothing unbelievable in their post.

£100 is too much for a HDMI lead, but then again if the OP knew nothing about them, how would they know this?

    How about a £500 cable?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/TCI-Cables-Copperhead-HDMI-15m/dp/B002V9U5UI/ref=sr_1_310?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1288629451&sr=1-310

Not long enough? Its ok buy an extension

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/5m-Gold-Plated-HDMI-Extension-Cable/dp/B000JU9XZO/ref=sr_1_11?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1288629255&sr=1-11

So £100 is more than believable.

    Stop trolling.
