Spare tyre is still knackered but at least i can drive the kids to where they got to go. Still waiting for OH to phone about washer we both work full time and have used all our holiday so it looks like begging work to let me have some hours off to be at home. Hi there new to the boards but have read the site for months now. Hoping to get 2 NSD this week, not counting the ebaying postage of course! Took list to supermarket yesterday and was followed around by 2 v hungry teenagers!!! Told them that what was on the list was all we were going to buy.
15 year old son says .... I need a drink, 17 year old daughter who announced she was ravenous, then replies....there is water in the tap at home!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did it so was really pleased about sticking to the list. Should have been an NSD def today but have to pay a parking ticket which I appealed against and it is killing me to actually pay it...
So am looking forward to joining in next month too! So new to this and dont know how to add the extras at the bottom of message
Started £2 sealed jar...KENCO jar and superglue!!!

Thank you sooo much everyone for all your birthday wishes...not been on here since Sunday, so lovely to read them all this morning!
I had a lovely birthday weekend...quite relaxing, DH wouldn't let me do very much at all, bless him!Lovely to see my sis and family as well as DS1 and his GF.
Didn't go on the computer at all on Monday...and yesterday I couldn't get on MSE at all!!
Only on here for a short while today as I have to supervise DS2 to move bits in and out of the greenhouse...what a frost we had this morning!! It went down to -1.4 C and is only 2 degrees atm...oh well we will have to move about a lot to keep warm!!! I am taking DS2 to college for 2 so need to get him into the garden this morning.
Spoon, I have managed to have 3 NSDs in a row, including today, so up to 14 NSDs now :j:j...4 days to get, with 6 days left of the month...should manage it (fingers crossed!!).
Have a great day everyone....looking forward to St Andrews Day next week. We always had a holiday at St Andrews University when I was there. (many, many moons ago!!! :rotfl:), not sure if they still do it.

Not a NSD yesterday, forgot I needed diesel which is getting more costly by the day it seems, cost me over £50 to fill up and that will only last a week max.
Today so far has been no spends (no time to spend anything!) so hopefully should be able to confirm later.
Boult I am very impressed with anyone who has done all their xmas shopping, I haven't started and haven't a clue what to get anyone. I am off work on Friday though so could possibly make a start.... (or I could leave it until the week before xmas as usual)A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
