  • HI all I am declaring an early NSD day today this makes my new total 13 second target met. Can i please increase to 16.

Had a bad few days my washer gave in sunday full of washing and water ahhhhhhhhh:mad: Then yesterday after picking up DD1 from school the car decided to have a puncture. Managed to pump the tyre up but when OH came out of work the tyre went down again the spare is also faulty and flat. Just lately it seems like it is one thing after another but i surpose you cope and come through it. Currently waiting for OH to phone the washer peoplw as he has a repair plan with them, the utility room still smells of burning washing machine. (Don't worry it is unplugged and full of water managed to get the soaking washing out). I am surposed to be off work thursday and finishing the christmas shopping if the car don't get fixed this will be a no no. When did it get so complicated.

Yesterday took me up to NSD number 20 and my 7th NSD in a row at my 3rd attempt - today will definitely be a spend day though as I've put off the grocery shop for long enough!
:j:j:j:jYAYYYYYYYY .... Kongratulations Khris (sorry:o), that's fantastic:j:j:j:j. You've had a brilliant month and lots of NSDs in a row as well. You are definitely our champion this month:T:T:T

Kongratulations! You've done really well this month Chris, that's brilliant!:T

Thank you Spoon and jintyb! It's all thanks to you guys though - I couldn't have done it without the encouragement!
Now i must stop reading the forum & get on with my presentation for my job interview on Thursday, or i will have no chance (please slap me if you see me back on here tonight!!)

Good luck butdoineedit - although, technically, you wont read this until after the job interview ...
I thought this was going to be much easier than it has been!

Don't worry kdalwayskint - it gets easier (and more addictive!) the more you do it - I've been joining this thread for 1 year now and it's definitely my favourite!

I hope the washer and car get fixed soon donna - at least they'll have shiney new bits soon which means that hopefully they won't breakdown again any time soon!

    Have a great Tuesday everyone!

    Good morning all!

Feeling a bit more like myself today, def had a dose of the "blues" yesterday!
When I got home I checked my receipt from Mr a and discovered they had put through an item twice - £10! I wasnt sure what to do as I only realised after I'd left the shop. Decided to take a chance and phoned CS and explained the situation. They were very nice and the result is that I have to "pop in at my earliest convenience" and they will refund my tenner. Result! :jTen quid is too much to write off as far as I'm concerned!

Kerri - good news re boiler, not too drastic moneywise, at least that's you sorted for the winter. I always get a bit twitchy when things go wrong with heating etc.
BDINI - good luck for the interview - by the way - if you're reading this - GET BACK TO YOUR PRESENTATION!!;)
Spoon - I want those knickers, I agree they are compulsory wear for the 30th!

Going for a NSD today as I'm working - keeps me out of mischief!;)

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)

Agree with all you have said.
    CErtainly £10 is too much.

    Hi Spoon and NSDers

Doing quite well at the moment - 3 more NSDs to report for me (it might have been 4 except I visited hell's own shop pr1mark on Saturday). Thats me up to 12, my target, so I will increase it to 15 now please Spoon.

Hopefully today should also be a NSD but best not count it yet just in case.
