    Hi lovely NSD gang :hello:
Couldn't get on here yesterday to say hello to you all:( - bloomin' forum was moving at the speed of a very tired snail (actually, not even that fast, thinking about it;)).

Will be back to do all the totals and round up tomorrow but, in the meantime, from the quick look I've had:

Well done to everyone meeting (and even extending) targets - a big YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to you all, and some of these as well:j:j:j:j

BDINI - good luck for tomorrow, will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you (though if I fall over on the ice tomorrow, I will be suing for damages:D:D:D:D). And yes, mum, I am taking it easier now, honestly:A

jinty- return it, you know it makes sense:D - and 4.52am is not a suitable time to say "good morning", it's the middle of the night. Hope you sleep better tonight ((((hugs)))) x

kerri - seems as though the now very smelly brace of kippers will be put to some use after all:D. I'm fine thanks, and definitely not overdoing it, I want to be able to flash my tartan knickers at the ceilidh:D

elf06 - well done for removing the f word from your post, and nowt wrong with 10 NSDs:T

webitha - oh dear:(, you are all going through the mill at the moment, poor OH, chicken pox can be painful when you're older - wise words from BMF..
(and you're right, it would have been very rude to ignore those wonderful offers in Tatco:D)

nicca - don't feel guilty about the charity thing, if you need to cancel it, then cancel it.. (and I love the new buy - have you declared that on Lula's challenge:D)

beanie - great news about DS - congratulations, you must be sooooo proud of him:j:j

Keiss - really pleased you had a lovely birthday and relaxing weekend, you deserved it:T

Cheryl - hmmm... tricky situation with milk monster, probably best if DD broaches it with him or he may think you don't want him back at all. Families and Xmas - a complete minefield:( .....

donna dynamo - oh nooooo:(... sorry about the washing machine and the car problems in rapid succession, not what you need this close to Xmas but, you're right, we just have to pick ourselves up and carry on. Hope you get both of them sorted without a huge amount of expense. Take care xx

TizerCat - :eek:to the microwave ruining your NSD, you're doing pretty well in spite of it though, plenty of time let to get to your target, don't give up

elfen - hope you're feeling a bit better, take care ((((hugs))))x

boult - hope you found the wrapping paper - I have that scenario every bloomin' year!! Well done for finishing your Xmas shopping:T

    And ....

:hello:Hi and welcome to the madhouse ebayqueen, good to have you on board.:j Good luck with your 2 NSDs this week, I'll add you to the front page tomorrow and look forward to you joining us in December.

I'm off to Tatco tomorrow morning, wish me luck everyone... now where's my suit of armour..

'night lovely peeps, see you all tomorrow
    spoon xx

    Good morning everyone!

Yes, this IS a more suitable time for getting up. Had a pretty rubbish night but at least I wasnt lying at 3am wide awake!
Thanks for all the advice re the return, I just needed a prod in the right direction and I knew I would get plenty of those here;) It's going back today!

Today I'm off to the library and I have a parcel to collect from the sorting office. I hate going there, it's in the most awkward street with absolutley no parking.......a pest!
Other than that I'm doing a bit of housework and that's it!

BDINI - hope all goes well today, keep us posted:)
Beanie - well done to DS:T
Webitha - so sorry about your poorly troops, what a shame!:(

CW - where did you get your hanger thingys? - I've been looking for those

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

  • Grrrrr, really not doing too well this month, looks like I'm going to struggle to meet my revised lower target :o Lots of little piddly spends where I'd forgotten to get something with the weekly shop and a couple of unexpected larger ones too. Mum and Dad have decided to visit me at very short notice for one day only as foot passengers on the boat to bring Christmas pressies over to me and OH. YAY!!! :j but.....all the buying I had planned for next week in with the Mr. A. spend day has now been done in a mad flappy panic this week instead!!! (so they can take family pressies back with them.)

However I am looking at this month as a success in that I still had money in the bank on payday (today) and I don't feel that I have frittered money away, it's just been disorganised. Also I get the unexpected Yay of seeing parents which I'm really looking forward to.

I'll keep checking in and I'm still trying to achieve some more, total so far is 11 with a mini challenge total of 4 in a row being the most achieved this month.

I got it from a pound store, but I think the one I used is a single branch local place - in the main they have different stuff to the ones I know are part of chains, so it's almost certainly only a local group unknown.gif

  • Just flying in to report NSD's 7 & 8!!! :D Only 2 more to find (but no idea where I'm going to find them!).

On the plus side I have nearly finished my christmas shopping which is a first for me!!! :) Will catch up with everyone later! x

Thanks Cheryl and Elf - I must check out Mrt. I have plans to hang one of those in my airing cupboard. It's quite big and it would save socks and knickers hanging around on the clothes horse ( one of my pet hates, but dont have a tumble drier)
Decided to do my weekly shop today. There's snow forecast and I thought I'd just get my little errands done today just in case it's horrid tomorrow. I tell you, OH being away hasnt half saved me some money this week. I tend not to make huge meals when its just me so I've been using up soup and pasta.
I have had a busy morning, went to A5da and got my refund of £10 from the overcharge the other day, plus they gave me £2 extra to compensate for their error:money:) so that was good, Lid£ for their foil which is brilliant, the library, sorting office and then the recycling centre, phew.
Handed in the said Av0n item - no problem, she will drop the money off later.
Since I've done my housework, I am now going to recline on the sofa and watch telly;)

    Have a good one !:)

Just popping in for a quick lunchtime post - well another non-NSD for me today. Already knew I needed to pick up toilet roll later so I treated myself to a bit of smoked salmon from MnS to have with my bagel at lunch. I also bought some pigs in blankets, veggie stuffing (OH has given up meat) and port and cranberry sauce which can all be frozen for our Xmas dinner. Thought they were all part of 3 for £5 offer but the piggies weren't - and I couldn't face sorting it out then and there - running off to try and get something else etc etc at lunchtime - silly of me. do you think if I take the receipt in and ask for the third item they might let me have it as part of the offer?
