Right, now to plan for the 30th shindig. Where's me tartan knickers?

Happy belated birthday Keiss!! Glad you enjoyed your lunch :) xx

Nargle - love the Christmas/winter solstice party idea! Mmmmm, mulled wine :)

Spoon - I've got over my grumpyness now thanks!! DH wasn't too happy that we've downgraded from a 42" plasma tv to the 12" portable from the bedroom though!! :rotfl:

Sunnylooloo - if you know of anyone who could offer any TV repairing advice I'd be very grateful, thanks! I'm reluctant to take it to an 'approved service engineer' as we just cant afford a huge bill this close to christmas!!

Not sure if today will be a NSD or not, I hope it will be as I'm going to bury my head in my books all day if poss but DH muttered something about me getting oil for the chainsaw on his way out - I could pretend I hadn't heard him though! :)

  • Morning lovely NSDers!

Sorry I've not posted in a week - life has been busy in Allie land. Hugs to you Spoon, you do such a fantastic job and I hope you are feeling right as rain now.

Well Monday (15th) was a spendie as I had to pay parking at the airport when i collected my parents (I also bought them dinner in the form of pizzas!). Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were NSDs as I left my purse at OHs so literally had no money to buy anything even if i had to! Friday was a spend as i had to go into town to pick up my glasses, do food shopping and get a few more bits of christmas shopping since it was a spendie. Saturday was a NSD as OH payed for cinema in the evening (Harry P 7.1!) and yesterday was also a NSD as i spent all day in bed as was feeling poorly so did well this weekend by getting some NSDs in I just hope that it doesnt mean i spend more during the week now!!!

    so that's me at 8 + 5 NSDs = 13 NSDs!

  • Good morning everyone!

It must be a 'K' day today ...

Kerri - sorry to here about your boiler, I hope you get it sorted soon!

Katenut - sorry to hear about your TV too!

Keiss - Happy Birthday for yesterday!

Anyway, yesterday was a 24 Karot day for me as I reached my target of 19 NSD!! It was also my 6th NSD in a row at my 3rd attempt! I have to do a grocery shop, so will do that within the next couple of days and combine that with a couple of other planned spends - in the mean time, Spoon, I'd like to increase my target to 25 NSDs! fingers_crossed.gif

Have a good week everyone, and good luck collecting more NSDs!

    HOW'S THE HEAD KEISS :p

Many Grats on your Next Half Century & hope things run smooth in the water from here on in x

I can't believe we have only a few days left of this month; it seems to have gone so quickly :( but I can report nsd No 15 was managed yesterday. I've got plenty of chores I should be doing to keep me away from retail therapy but whether I actually get around to doing them is another matter entirely :rotfl:
