The “arrgggh it’s nearly Xmas” November NSD challenge

Good evening everyone!
Saturday and Sunday were NSDs for me bringing my running total up to ... unlucky for some 13 NSDs and 7 NSDs in a row - beating my previous PB (personal best) and my target of 6 in this month's mini challenge! :j ... BTW - well done Cheryl on beating your PB yesterday in the 10k
Unfortunately today was a very large spend day ... I spent:
£13.44 - fuel for the motorcycle,
£72.50 - weekly food shop (put off from yesterday) + we've got friends coming round, so it was larger than normal, and
£56.63 - finishing off the last of my Christmas shopping - at least that's done :T
So, it was a VERY Spendy Day, but at least I don't have any more spends planned for the week and should collect a few more NSDs!
Have a good week collecting more NSDS everyone - wrap up warm - I'm freezing my derriere off!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

Well Saturday was a spendie (due to crafty stuff, petrol and some wee gifts for next month) but Sunday was a NSD (taking me to 8 in total please spoons
)
Today will be a spendie as I have to pick my parents up from the airport later and it's going to cost me two of my limbs for the parking (well about £4! ) - but it's cheaper than them getting a taxi which would cost about £30 and i get to see them first in a 'love actually' moment as i like to refer to them as!!
I'm planning that tomorrow and Wednesday will be NSDs and Thursday may creep in to the NSD category as well but we'll have to see (I'm not declaring them yet in case I'm tempting fate!) I've realised that I seem to get most of my NSDs midweek so I must try harder to get weekend NSDs!Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0 -
pleased to report a NSD yesterday and today :j0

Evening all! and isn't it a chilly one - brrrrr! Well despite me making the usually fatal mistake of walking into Mr T at lunchtime while hungry, i have clocked up another NSD! :jso that's me up to 9 :T i did get a bit of a strange look in Mr T - one of the other threads mentioned that Cathedral City 400g BOGOF cheese was mis-scanning at 50p for 2 (or was it 50p each? anyway it was cheap) so I tried two blocks at the self-scan. Sadly no joy and although the BOGOF offer was ok, I still have the 3 blocks from the buy 1 get 2 free (now also BOGOF) so I left it. Unfortunately there were no staff members available to cancel the scan (one of my common grumbles in that store ) but I did put the cheese back in the correct section. Am sure security were giving me funny looks :rotfl:
Tomorrow won't be a NSD as I've realised I need to get my mum a birthday card for Wed (and Colin the caterpillar is growing back across my brow so I need to get him threaded back into the shape of two eyebrows) :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Yay NSD no 5 today!! Halfway there!!! Had a very productive work day, got a lot done!
AND I made it to the gym on the way home!Didn't stay too long though as I forgot to take a water bottle and I refused to buy a drink and ruin my NSD! :rotfl:
Am hoping for another one tomorrow! Can't believe how fast this month has gone :eek:Just keep swimming0 -

No NSD today
D/Debit went out, so I picked up some groceries locally - more tinned mushrooms, a couple more boxes of the fruit chew bars I'm having as snacks at work (last 2 boxes in local B'n'M, so have put pennies to one side to cycle out to a couple more branches and see if I can get some more), satsumas and bananas. Also picked up a loaf of bread - it's a long-life one, so even though display until today it's bb next Monday, and even though I was in the store at around 3pm it was already reduced to 19p (so not worth making a loaf instead).
I've also been onto Mr T's website and made a shopping list for Fri/Sat, so I've put aside the money for that. I plan on making the most of the long-life B2G1F offers, and adding other long-life items to the order to get me to >£40 spend - got my C/card vouchers yesterday which included a £6 off a £40 spend made up to 28/11 (and 2x £4 off £40 for the 29/11-19/12 and 20/12-2/1 periods), so I plan to use the first but not so sure about the other 2 (could find the money to use them, but not sure that I need enough long-life stuff for next year to spend another £80 - guess it depends what offers come up in the meantime). Couldn't do it today as a couple of items on the list need freezer space - so I need to use some stuff up this week and have another rejig
Does anyone know when the 5p off a litre of fuel ends? Or has it aready ended? (Can't see anything on the website!)
And if it's still running, do you need to spend £50 before or after vouchers come off?
My BBFL order arrived at 8:30 this morning - all 17 (small) boxes of it - and it then took me over half an hour to check it all in
One bag of toffee muffin mix had split (despite the outer box appearing to be OK, and never having been opened as I got a full box), but I don't think I lost much. Only problem was that my hall carpet, jeans and sweatshirt gained a light 'dusting' which meant the dog was having a good sniff around (it does smell lovely)
Used some of the order to make my lunch - I put half a jar of lemon and ginger stir-fry mix (got 40 jars) into a pan with an equal quantity of water and two pre-cooked and diced mini chicken fillets (bought on Whoopsie a while back) and brought it to a boil. I then added a pouch of the risotto base (120 pouches received) which only needs heating through for a couple of mins, and lunch was served. I don't do stir-fries (plan to attempt one, but don't currently have necessary ingredients other than the sauce), so thought it worth a try - and it was plenty nice enough to do againIf I've got everything to hand and 'ready to go' it's probably quick enough to do when I come home from work for lunch on a Mon/Tues as well, which is one reason I was having a bash at it as it means I can have something warm (other than cheese on toast) during the winter months
Got to take the mutt to the vet tomorrow - have made an appt, but they couldn't fit us in today (so what I hope is enough money is now tucked into my purse for this as well!) - as he's limping after a while on his feet. Kept a close eye on him today when we were out, and about 2 miles into our walk it started up again slightly. He was still keen to keep going and didn't slow down though, so it can't be bothering him too much - but it was more noticeable around tea time and I wouldn't have considered taking him out again. Based on the last few days it'll clear up by the morning and he'll be chasing me for his next walk after breakfast, which is why I think it's going to be muscular rather than skeletal - so I'm assuming he'll get a course of anti-inflams. (Put him on the scales while in making the appt, and his weight loss is going well..... he's down 1.6kg in 26 days which equates to about 0.9lb/week, so I think the vet will be happy with that tomorrow)
