    And today makes number 6!

Fast forward to Saturday 20 November, late evening....

A darkened auditorium. A door creaks open to reveal a transitory shaft of light, enough to reveal that there is an audience of hundreds waiting with bated breath....a solitary figure creeps in and the door is shut quickly. The figure creeps furtively like a furtive thing down the aisle and then the lights come up to reveal Nargleblast stepping up to the podium, ready to receive the NSD Wet Kipper In The Mush Award for having four spendy days in a row......

Well there's the cat's vet trip for his booster vacc tomorrow. (If in doubt blame the cat)
The hairdresser on Thursday (I may be poor but I got style!)
The dental hygienist on Friday (Well, I gotta look after me teef..)
And the weight training/martial arts classes Saturday (my body is a temple - pity it's in ruins...)

But I promise to be a good girl on Sunday and keep my purse chained up.

Hi Spoony, lots of love in this thread today! cheer up

Number 9 today; did not go to the shops. Will maximise tomorrow as a spend day but on MSE way by buying only with vouchers to minimise spend. Need to get water though; sorry I am a snob and got to have Evian. Oh my God, what is going on with the price of sparkling SanPellegrino (a pound or over - are they mad!)
    MFW on your mark
  • HI all NSD number 9 yesterday. Big hugs to spoony and honey hope life picks up for you soon. Still in thr grip of back pain seems to be easing very slowly. Had a spend day today had to post my ebay parcels but not sure if this counts as i have the money off the purchaser to pay for this. We did a food shop today and i brought some more christmas bits OH pays for the food so owe him the money.

a bottle of sparkling what? for what? I am clearly not a conniseur of water as I can't taste the difference between most bottles and tap water - except Volvic - which tastes like the suplhur ridden soils it runs through - bleugh!

Congratulations on the wet kipper Nargle, we're all very proud of you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh dear - is there anyone you can give the tickets to? (or any way you can get out of work?) Please tell me the festival is indoors though otherwise I'd think you were bloomin mad to want to go in this weather :rotfl:

Well, as planned a bit of a spendy day today - got some new foundation from B**ts (normally use Bare Escentuals Matte but I've run out so thought I'd try the new Une range - had a voucher for that though so cost me nowt and I got double points) :j though I am sure my double points voucher was to have 2 uses (like usual) but the guy said only one....hmm....he seemed new though so I wonder.... Also got a perfect card for my mum's b'day tomorrow (I love though eureka moments when you choose a card for someone), some deicer from the £1 shop and some satsumas from mr T - for £1.50 though  since when did they become so expensive - I didn't want 2 packs for £2 but had a real urge for a satsuma specifically - not even a clementine would have done - I am sure [STRIKE]my mum[/STRIKE] , Santa didn't pay £1.50 a pack when he was filling my stocking with a satsuma, a handful of nuts and a piece of coal when I was a kid :rotfl::rotfl:still, more healthy than choc (anyone see that Panorama prog about Junk food tax last night?) oh, and colin the caterpillar is now nicely shaped into two eyebrows again so I can be seen in public for another 2 weeks. :)

Meeting mummy for lunch tomorrow for her b'day so expect that will be spendy too (well, I can hardly ask her to pay for her own lunch even if it is for a NSD), and need petrol on thurs...oh heavens ....I'm almost up for a wet kipper award with Nargle!

    JAN NSD 11/16

  • Hi everyone, I haven't had a chance to log on over last couple of days, but happy to report 2 more NSDs.

Huge big virtual ((((hugs)))) all needing them, I'm all aches and pains tonight, not sure if its the after effects of my yoga class last night or whether its a sign that I got a lovely cold coming. Feeling so sleepy at the moment and banging headache so its not looking good, my day off tomorrow think I will rest up and see how I feel.

Hope everyone else is well and hanging in there.
