Just wondering if anyone has any advice related to this offer, I have messed up big time. I wanted to make sure I received the cashback, so rather than cancelling straight away I logged onto the website and changed my delivery frequency to every 12 weeks, with the intention of waiting as long as possible and then cancelling it before getting charged for the next delivery.

After making this change I received an email which said "next delivery expected 9/2/2011" and I was planning on cancelling my subscription this week. Unfortunately it looks like I have cut it a bit too close as I have just noticed my credit card has been charged £17.95 and a box is going to be despatched to me on 2nd Feb.

Anyone know if I can get the money back somehow? Will they cancel the delivery and give me a refund if I contact them? It's made even more depressing by the fact that the charge has taken my credit card overlimit, though I know there's nothing I can do about that.
  • Just a quick question for those of you who have already done this. Im expecting my chocolates to arrive on the 8/02/11. I have set the frequency to 12 weeks, but from what i remember from this thread when i read it a couple of months ago is that some people were charged for the second box way before they had expected to. When is the best time to cancel my subscription before i get charged for the next box? Should i cancel it the day i receive the chocs? Or should i cancel it on the 8th Feb regardless of whether they have turned up? I want to cancel it ASAP whilst still getting my chocs, but im assuming that because the frequency is set to 12 weeks, i will be ok to leave it a couple of weeks if i the chocs are delayed in the post? Many thanks
Knock me down I'll get right back up again, I'll come back stronger than a powered up Pac-Man

I believe they say when you return the chocs, then they will refund the cost (ex P&P)

I forgot to cancel, and just had a yummy box of chocs. I will have to cancel as I have no willpower at all. I cannot say no to things I enjoy. :D

I did the same so when they arrived I phoned them and explained I wasn't in a position to pay for them and could I send them back. They tried talking me into changing my account to every 24 weeks but I declined and opted to cancel my account, they advised me to give the chocs to charity and I would not be charged for them.

I cancelled online when i had the chocolates a couple of years ago. I then received chocolates because it didnt go through as expected. I telephoned and was told my account would be closed and to give the chocolates to charity. My mum was in a nursing home so i took them there so they could share them.
I guess if you phone wanting to return them you will get the same response, then i suppose its down to your own conscience as to what you do with them.;)
