I cancelled mine as soon as I received the chocolates as the next one wasn't due for another month. Why not put a reminder on your calendar to cancel shortly after the payment is due to be taken? That's what I did, although the arrival of the chocolates was reminder enough in all honesty!

I received my chocs yesterday, second attempt as I didn't receive the first ones, have logged in today to change the frequency to three months only to find they have already sent the next box. Email sent asking them to stop the despatch of the new selection!

Also, I didn't receive a membership card - am I supposed to have one?
    Gone ... or have I?
  • Looks like offer 'stopped'. Yah boo !!

Due to unprecedented demand we are unable to offer any Introductory Selections until late January 2011. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I just ordered mine :j can't wait. Did anyone cancel before they received the chocs? I'm thinking of doing it now incase I forget later, but obviously no payment has been taken from me yet so I don't know if it will just cancel my whole order and I'll get nothing? :S

i dont know, but i imagine that if you cancel it before they have sent the chocs out/taken payment they will just cancel the order and you will receive nothing. The best thing to do probably is to wait until you receive the chocs before you cancel. In the mean time set the frequency of orders to 12 weeks, so that should give you plenty of time to cancel. Thats what i have done anyway.
  • Just to let you know, I did this and the chocs are really lovely but since I cancelled their marketing division call me 2 or 3 times a week. I googled thier number and there were loads of complaints about how they dont leave you alone once they've got your contact details even if you tick the box to say no contact.

Never had this from them - but then, I've never ever seen the need to give them a phone number.

Took the offer up yesterday lunch time (so before it got pulled) and emailed them to change the delivery address (as you're not given the option when you register). They were very prompt in replying, which I thought was excellent.

however, today they have told me I won't get the chocolates until the new year. Seems pretty ridiculous that the offer was still open when I took it but they still are unable to supply.

Anyone else who took the offer yesterday heard anything from them? I wonder if it's only because I made myself known to them that they have told me this and, had i not said anything they would have honoured the 10days?

    ***UPDATE 07.12.10***

After various emails, saying that February (!!) was not acceptable they asked if I would be happy with this month's current tasting box. It has 15 chocolates in- I'm not sure of the total price (i'd imagine less than£18 of the intro box) but 4 chocolates go for about a fiver!

So figured I was still getting a good deal for my 39p and accepted on the priviso that it reaches me by Christmas- that way I can still use it as a present for 39p :-)

Just thought I'd let you guys know. Would still be interested to know if anyone else who was able to buy the deal then got emailed to say it was no longer available?
