When I original phoned and told them I was paying the wrong flats bill they told me they would send someone round and my direct debit due 29/10/06 would not be taken untill they had sorted this out and re-issued a correct bill. Great. I have just checked my online account and today they took £131 :eek: I am so mad with them. Can they do anything right?! Plus their call centre shut at 6pm so I can not do anything about it today. :mad:
Water people came round today and confirmed I have been paying the wrong meter. Now got to wait for the corrected bill

I got a letter today saying, "This error is our responsibility, so we will not be charging you for the additional water used". Woooohoooo. It was only about £30 I owed, and it has caused me *loads* of hassle and phone calls, but I still didn't think would write it off. THANK YOU ESSEX AND SUFFORK WATER
