With the Netgear TA612V, Sipgate offer 555 free minutes to UK fixed lines (I assume this includes 0870 and 0845 numbers as well geographical numbers, as these are listed under their UK fixed line tariffs).

Does anyone know of a way to use these free minutes to call abroad for free?

    Thanks for any help. :)

You cant as its restricted for UK only, no way around it

The Linksys Wireless IP Cameras are also going through at £19.91 and not £39.91 as was on the shelf. This is a massive bargain as it got very good reviews when it was £150!!

For anyone who doen't know this a web camera that doesn't need to be connected to a PC. It connects via wireless to the internet and you can view a live feed from anywhere in the world (does need internet explorer though!)

For a subscription of £5 a month it can also email/MMS you a video or still image of any movement it detects. Handy if someone is burgarying your house when you are away as a video of the theif will have already been sent to your email address/MMS before the thief sees the camera!

How many were left in your local store, and any chance of sending any to other people?!!

I've looked in a couple of ours, but they only had the NetGear VOIP units left, but I'm desperately after a camera :(

Sorry I got the last one yesterday. They did still have plenty of philips and 3Com routers and card left, as they had no prices on, so how anyone would know they are on special apart from MSEs I don't know.

They also had some fairly cheap large external hard disks and DVD-RW with a 91p at the end. So worth having a general look around and getting them to scan a few boxes when they end in 91p as the prices must be getting cheaper until they sell through.

Ah well, worth a try! Which store was your local one? Also, one more question if you dont mind, were all the deals in their own 'clearance' section or was it all spread out?

There was only a small selection in our local store.

Have desperately been trying to get hold of an a Netgear MP101, a wireless camera and an ethernet adapter without any luck - I have found that a number of stores that apparently have stock - do not! They are apparently "faulty units - ready for return"

Its annoying because you never really know if the bargains are being held back by the staff or, if as they say, they are faulty units ready for return. Secondly a lot of network equipment can be fiddley to set-up and it makes me wonder if a lot of the "faulty units" I am encountering are really faulty - I may try my local store again and see if I can persuade them to let me try one.

I do have a 3com router pack and a Netgear Voip which I may be prepared to let go to somebody who cant get these but can find what I need :):)

    Anyone live near Croydon??

Still a few Netgear VOIP units in Epsom and Colliers Wood - they are still marked up as "£79.99, reduced from £99.99" there!
