Yes blue I use it, I have been using it since July and it is fantastic, it is probably the best time-saving advice that I could ever give another amazonian, give it a try and see if it suits you - I love it.My darling boy born December 20110

If you do it from home, do they still cover you for loss if a parcel goes missing? And do they charge you for this service on top of the postage price.
Thanks in advance.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Re: Amazon seller account reports.
Having finally got customer services to sort out my problem with logging in to the reports area I am now after a bit of info from any pro sellers who have used them.
I wonder if anyone can explain the difference between the 3 different Open listings reports - the Open listings report, the lite report and the liter report.
I don't want to download the full one if all I need is the liter one - if you know what I mean.

I would suggest you download the full open listings report because it would be that one you need if for any reason your listings were cancelled in full by Amazon or they simply disappeared (perish the thought).
The file size difference is minimal and will only take a minute or so to download and retain on your hard drive.0 -
I would like some advice please. I have an item that I have listed at £20 and it is the only one available on Marketplace. I've just noticed:
"Average pending pre-order price (Based on your condition) £15.00"
If I want to sell my item do I reduce it down to £15.00 and will Amazon email the waiting buyer to inform them?
When it states "average pending pre-order price", does that mean that more than one person wants my product?
I'm a bit confused at what I should do. I don't know if I should reduce the price or leave it at £20 and take a chance.
Thank-you.0 -

There could be more than 1 buyer waiting, if you play around with the condition when you are listing you may find that someone is happy to pay £20 for a like new copy and someone else £10 for acceptable, hence the average price being £15 if your copy was like new for example. If you're a PM you can get the preorder report and find out how many people want it in what condition and at what price.
I would advise you to check the availability and price of your book via a site like https://www.bookfinder.com incase it's up for sale elsewhere for considerably more. It could be other sellers placing a preorder when they know the book will sell for £100 for example. There are some books that I do this on - you can only do it if there are none for sale.
A preorder will go through automatically once you chose the correct price because when you place a preorder you are agreeing to the purchase - although I understand that some buyers put in old/incorrect card details to ensure that the item goes pending and therefore needs some action from them before the sale is finalised.
Hope that helps

Thanks for the advice FFM.
The item I am selling is a PlayStation 2 game. I've just played around with the listing and the £15 price is shown for all conditions with exception of "acceptable" condition.
Could I reduce the price gradually from £20 towards £15 until it has gone or does this mean that the buyer waiting price is actually £15?0 -
Hi Goldeneye, don't have a lot of 'buyer waiting' experience - only had this once with a book I was selling. No other copies at a price near to mine but the buyer was offering the lower end of what I wanted to sell the book for.
I wasn't in a hurry so listed it at a higher price for about a month but no one bought so I eventually reduced it to the price being offered by the buyer and got an email almost straight away.
You'd have to judge if your item is popular ie will other buyers want it for a higher price, can you list it higher and wait to see or are you wanting a quick sale and willing to accept what's on offer? I don't think there's a definitive answer it depends on your circumstances and the desirability of the item and also of course whether anyone else is looking to buy when you list.....
Good luck with it

Ive just checked the buyer waiting list for software and there are 4 or 5 PS2 game listed with buyers waiting at £ 15. Ive compared the list to all other buyer waiting items and there is no one willing to pay more. Consequently, your item should sell immediately once reduced to £ 15 but not before and its unlikely the potential buyer will know you have a copy listed until you do reduce it.0 -
