Oh I am getting all excited now, can't wait! This is the right tonic for me today as tomorrow I have a bit of a work ordeal (big conference) and was getting very depressed about the thought. Thank you for organising this meet!
Isn't this forum just great?
I was reading about all the meets recently and really wished I could go on 1. When I saw this last night I thought:
'I'd love to go, but don't 'know' (as in posted with) anyone.'
Then I thought I'd just go for it. I have had a not so nice 6 months health/split with partner wise and this forum has kept me going!
Have a nice evening and hope tomorrow goes well for you.Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j

If I don't go to London between now and Christmas (how could that only be 7 weeks away ????) I might have a voucher which would make it cheap to go to Bermingham...never been there and would like to a) see Caterina and her OH again and b) meet some of you I haven't met before.
So a very shaky 'maybe'

I'm from Birmingham but have never actually heard of this proposed pub :rotfl:
Birmingham Centre and surrounding can be a bit hard to navigate as sometimes walking along the road would take ages or isn't possible(ie, from Broad St to Colmore Row you come away from the Road and walk through an indoor forum and pedestrianised areas) so I'd get on google maps to see the landmarks along your route or I'm sure one of us locals could help.
I will try and help with some directions, I really need a power point presentation with associated pics so you can all see where you're going! Actually I might have a look at is it Google Street view? I might post some links so you can see WHAT Priory circus looks like etc.
Adelight - the pub is opposite the cathedral on Temple Row West, if you drove down Colmore Row and took the first available left that is Temple Row West and the pub would be on your right hand side. I only know this area as I used to work in building opposite the pub. I can even show you the spot in the square where I first saw my now Husband :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0
