There is an Etap hotel, at your own peril! Would be a little trek and I don't know about on your own at night! I live in Birmingham and I don't know if I would do it on my own!

22nd fine with me too, have been looking at hotels as although we are not that far away, tis nice to have a weekend away every now and then, Holiday Inn Express is £47 plus you get free brekkie there, ok not a great breakfast but its something, can also go through Quidco.

Am thinking that the people from here that I have on my FB, I will steal a photo, put them all onto 1 A4 sheet, then I will bound to be able to match up at least one face, maybe if I match them all I can call BINGO :rotfl:

The pub looks good, lots of room for us all :D

  • mentioned it to mr NPM last night but don`t think the idea of having lunch in a pub with a load of mad women appealed;)
He says Birmingham is a bit of a hike and is there not going to be a Yorkshire meet......
he wll moan if I try to come myself as he worries something will happen to me:p
Shame as the menu looks fab and made me hungry:rotfl:
  • The ETAP hotel was dearer than the one Caterina suggested, have a look at that Dazi, the Executive room was showing at £45 a night and looked lovely.

Dazi that sounds like a brill idea with the fb pictures - can I be cheeky and ask you to email me a copy if you manage to do it, coz must admit am a bit worried about wandering around on my own with a vacant expression not finding anyone:o

Is the pub (which looks brill by the way) near to the train station?

Thanks Flutterby, I am a novice at train fares, and thought it might be something like that. To be honest I had a look at the transport board but it was all Apex-this and saver-that, and I felt like it would have read better in Greek! :o

Which is why I prefer to travel by car :rotfl:

In a word, no. Actually the only thing New Street station is near is the Bull Ring which is mostly shops and eateries. The pub is in a place called St Phillips Place, opposite Birmingham Cathedral (ooooh I feel like a tour guide LOL).

I don't mind arranging to meet outside New Street station and then us all walking up to OJS together? I am just worried that with it all being pedestrianised people might get lost.

Dundeedoll - I shall add you to the list :D
Nic1lou2 - I shall add you to the list too :D
NPM - shame you won't be able to make it but never mind xx
