    hmmmmm? its abit like a lucky dip (will i or wont i????)

    Luckily for me its a gift for the 25th December, so if all fails I will trek somewhere else! lol

    I just rang them, I have not received any email, they have my email incorrect??????? how did I manage to get my order confirmation then????

    they are passing refund details to there accounts dept.....and can take upto 5 days.....
    what a lousy set up........ Asking me how much I actually paid via paypal and when I paid it!!!!

  • same as me cancelled nothing in paypal though will have to convince son to trade in medal of honour at hmv now

    Mine too has been cancelled. Still awaiting for refund.
  • Hi all. My Woolies order was cancelled yesterday and a full PayPal refund overnight.

    Spoke to Consumer Direct and they believe there may be a case of misleading advertising to answer so have raised it with Trading Standards.

    Can I suggest that EVERYONE who has suffered the same fate call them on 08454 04 05 06 opt 3, take the 10 minutes and make sure Trading Standards have words with Woolies for this appalling bit of service.

    My order has also been cancelled with no email or call to inform me which I think is very poor - they're quick enough to use my email address to send me advertising for future promotions etc but can't be bothered to issue a notice of a refund - something which to me is much more important.:mad:

    On woolies website it says I was refunded yesterday but as yet there is nothing in my paypal so will keep an eye on it.

    Mine's the same and after a strongly worded email regarding my refund I was advised it would take 7 to 10 working days for my refund.
    That's disgraceful, it didn't take 7 to 10 working days for them to take my money...off to write another 'strong' email :mad:
  • I thought I was still in with a chance of getting it as I hadn't heard from them. But just checked the order status and mine is cancelled too :(

    Doesn't seem right that they can keep our money - they've already had it for over a week, don't know when I'll be getting a refund as there's nothing about it on the website.
