Hi hope everyone is ok. We are having a fairly CFR week here having the salmon pasta tonight, the pork tomorrow and prob the toad in hole boxing day. Will do a few more recipes throughout the week as well.
Hope everyone has a great xmas and look forward to hearing from you all soon xx0 -
We're having the Salmon Pasta for tea tonight. We're munching our way through the marmalade cake which is delicious.
I love the contrast in the cake, the outside is quite dark yet the inside is almost white, it's the best sponge I've ever had and was so easy to make.
DH is not keen on the topping but that's purely down to the fact that he knows it's yoghurt, he liked it before he realised (rolleyes) Katie likes it too.
I received the best Christmas present for an unemployed person - A job offer, I start on 4 January.
I will have to get super organised with food as I won't be getting home until 6pm at the earliest so DH will have to help out with finishing stuff off.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Merry Christmas Everyone.
I made 2 stuffings for Christmas Dinner, the Lemon Stuffing from the Roast Chicken Dinner and the Sage and Onion Stuffing from the Slow Roast Pork, they complimented each other very nicely.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Hope everyone had a good xmas. Ours went well despite ex's yorkies not rising.
Congrats MDW on the new job great start for 2011.
Look forward to hearing from you all soon xx0 -
Happy Christmas to all our CFR friends - we also had the salmon pasta on Christmas Eve, and very lovely it was too
Sounds like that might just be the most popular CFR Christmas recipe ever, with so many of us choosing to have it the night before Christmas ! :T

I've been twiddling with the recipes again
Chicken and Onion Pie, turned into Chicken & Onion Cobbler with touch of cream added, very yummy.
Toad in the Hole - used leftover sausages and bacon and sausagemeat stuffing, and served with some fried off leftover stuffing, peas and gravy.Proud to be dealing with my debts

I will be too MDW
Gotta pay off some bills....
Gotta get some dosh in the savings account.
Gotta clear down the store cupboard/freezer. ... I do have some CFR freezer ready meals..... so they need to be used up soon....
I think for the next month I will use up whats in... and Feb, will go for a very much CFR from scatch month
I hope everyone has had a very happy Christmas
I had a very different one than expected.:o
I should have been in sunnier climes, instead, I had not so great travel news, due to the weather... which meant we couldnt get away
This was after we found out my sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer.
To be honest, I didn't feel like going anywhere after hearing this news..... and wanted to be at home with the family.... which was met by her cry of "dont be so daft... go on holiday ect ect"
Anyway, the weather put that to rights
I actually spent Christmas with the friends I should have been going away with, after we found out my SIL had the best case scenario,.... which was fantastic. A good time was had by all
The new year...holds lots of thoughts, and lots of worrying, which is fine, as I have broad shoulders to help with all of that:o.... amoungst other things.
I will be making the CFR marmalade cake in the next couple of days...as its my nephews/dads birthday just after the new year
I will let you know how it goes.
Hope everyone is well
