Evening all
I might be able to get to a Birmingham meet. Maybe a Yorkshire one would be a good idea too as suggested by DG. Although I believe you were in Castleford shopping the other day DG and I was there too - we could have had a mini-meet if we had known:D I go there every few months for a look!
Been really busy lately both at work and home as have been decorating. Lounge, dining room and kitchen all finished now, new suite is really comfy now so am well pleased. Just the hall stairs and landing to do before christmas now but DH is going to paint them when I nip over to my sister's in Ireland for a long weekend, in early December. Got a brilliant deal on the flights £5 each way with no taxes or online check in fee. Costs me more than that to get into the city centre here:D
Csarina glad to hear your OH is on the mend, I bet you are shattered with all the running around.
JG hope your ear eases off. What a pity you had to miss the meet, I was looking at going myself but couldnt get any reasonably priced flights.
Hope all who do manage to get there have a great time.
Have a good evening all

Evening All,
Long, busy couple of days, had lots on and no time to relax or come on here
OH is out for the evening though so I get the remote to myself and can watch as many chick flicks as I please!
I am on taxi duty though as it's raining really heavily here and looks like it's set in for the evening. So sometime around midnight, I'll likely have a car full of drunk 27 year olds acting like they're 5!!
No OS today, haven't even made the bed from this morning  Just feellike being really, really lazy! :rotfl:
Have a good evening everyone!0 -

I got 3.....:o sorry....will try not to go on about it! Only took 35 minutes on Ticketmaster when I got home from Tesco!

Thenanny2die4...love that stove, looked at it when I was buying a stove for my kitchen, got mean and bought a small one, so sorry now as it hasn't any kind of oven....if the lotto comes up maybe I will go mad and get a large stove and put the other on in the living room.
Going mad with 3 grandchildren racing around the house, pursued by the dog...do children no longer go to bed at 6.30??

In a previous job I used to cook on an aga and this was the closest I could (a) afford, and (b) fit in our little cottage. It's brilliant and British made too which is a bonus. It's a bit odd to have been cooking in the living room today though. :rotfl:
As far as children's bedtimes go... When I'm doing overnight shifts at work, as I do most weeks, the 3 year-old twin girls I care for are usually in bed before seven and sleep through till at least 7.30 in the morning. How perfect are they?

Someone is now off my Christmas card list! :rotfl:. Well done you, I'm slightly jealous.
I'm giving up now as it looks like both Cardiff ones are sold out
It just annoys me that I can input my credit card details then the stupid thing times me out! Ah well obviously not meant to be.

They added an extra date for Glasgow, so maybe they will in Cardiff too.

Ooooooo I got sooo cross with Ticketmaster - I still had 3 mins 20-something left to go when I submitted my card details, pressed submit and it said to retry, then kicked me back to the event page:mad::mad::mad: Was NOT happy at all, especially when I checked and it definitely hadn't processed the order
Seeing as I have wasted much of my time on the lappy all day, this is just a flying 'hello' from me tonight. Hugs and spoons to all in need. Afraid the only OS today was making our own Halloween decs
good fun though, and it was nice and peaceful in our house for 2 whole hours whilst DD and I sat making them :T
