Morning All.
From wet and miserable of Glasgow. No trip for me, I have been up all night with this ear, so much so, that we slept in for school - but they were only five minutes late. I am really very disappointed, as I had also arranged to meet friends for lunch in Dublin today, whom I haven't seen for about six years. But to be honest I am also a little relieved as my anxiety levels were going through the roof. A friend from work had invited me out to the cinema last night, and I couldn't go because of getting the boys organised for Hallowe'en, but I was relieved I had that excuse as I am just not comfortable out and about yet.:(
Right enough whingeing from me. The boys are home for lunch and I have rolls to make and veggies burgers to sort out, then I am going to set the alarm very loudly and have a wee snooze on the couch. OH should be finishing work early today as he had arranged his week for me going to Dublin, so I plan on getting pampered tonight.
DG loved hearing about your day yesterday, as a larger girl myself, did you know that Pandora do the real bracelets in bigger sizes (which means an extra couple of beads too. I have had mine for years but I fancy an oxidised silver one, and when I checked they do still have the longer lengths.
Happy Birthday Onceuponatime
Enjoy your trip Gers, shame the weather is so horrible here just now.
Have good days y'all, hi fives and spoons all round.

That is a very good idea :T:T
OSAAT - Happy Birthday  Have a great day x
Bargainbird - DS doesn't go back to school til Wednesday either  He's finding the inclement weather hard, he's bouncing off the walls as he's got sooooooo much energy but when it's 'orrible and wet and I've got mindees who walk at a snails pace or don't really like being outdoors getting outside like we'd really like to ends up a mission
My mum's just called round and has taken him with her to walk the dog
JackieG - sorry you've not been able to go but it's probably for the best I guess. I wouldn't like to imagine the pain of your ear on take off!!! As for your anxiety, take one day at a time xxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Just an update
Looked on the Evans website, and found a pair of black leather boots with a little heel which look just right, went via Quidco, and they still have the 20% off until the end of today anyway, but checked on vouchers on hotukdeals, and found 2 more one for free delivery, and the other for an extra 20% off so £50.88 for wide high legs boots, and less the 8% Quidco even better. Any if they do not fit or are not right, I can just take them back to their shop = Service!!
Sorry you are missing your meet JG

Morning all, nice and damp!
Hope everyone's feeling good, so many people with colds and stress lately. Hugs all round
Feeling rough and tired still, but at least my crazy work load is over for now. I think all the faffing over my group poster was worth it (apparently us mathematicians are such poor communicators a poster was a challenge- and well, it was for some people who didn't even manage to make it a poster?!) ours looked fantastic in the end, very happy! Now I have "reading week" and a fresh mountain of coursework to tackle.
I've been reeeeally craving yummy coffees and cappuccinos lately, but of course those are far too expensive out and there's no coffee machine here. I occasionally buy the sachets but I'm wondering if investing in a cheap coffee machine would be better. I'd rather have Lidl filter coffee than instant nescafe any day.
We'll see how many pennies I can notch up from not drinking and not getting the bus! I'm supposed to be going out tonight, tomorrow and sunday for halloween but as I also have work I imagine it'll be a martini or two at home followed by cokes all night and leaving early. Have you ever seen such an un-student like student?
