You have been told to speak to your bank, post#2 I think. Have you done so? You've also ignored a number of questions people have asked.

An answer to my exact query.

Not an answer to a query that I did not ask..

The answer to your enquiry was given on the first post after you asked the question

    Speak to your bank.

You ignored that particular bit of advice and said that you "see ££ signs but then again I need the right advice so I can know for sure"

That response tells me that the answer isn't what you want so let me give you more. This is an American company and unless it has a presence in the UK you would need to do any action against them in the US although if you originally signed up for some service then your really not going to achieve much.

The answer given by Pollycat is still relevant, Speak to your bank

Are you saying you no longer want the product/service provided?

You can't cancel it by cancelling or losing or changing the number/expiry date of your card.

You have to contact the company with whom you have the contract.

  • Why does everyone give an answer to something I did not ask?

I never gave them my bank account number and sort code.

I gave them them my debit card number.

Which expires. And did so on 09/10.

After payment failed to work on 28/09/2010 the company then added a new card to my account as payment info on 22/10/2010.

What I'm asking is how in the world can they think it is ok to add a card to my account without my prior consent and when that card doesn't eve exist at the time they added it.

And to all that are just getting angry. Yes forums are here to express yourself but please get a punch bag for your anger and then answer rationally.

Contact your bank. They will explain to you what happened and then you can pursue whatever action you feel necessary.

    Contact. Your. Bank.

Although the only angry person here appears to be you.

Probably because answering the question you did ask is hypothetical... see below.

Yes, I agree with all of that.

You have no evidence that that is what happened. You said you were waiting for the company to document that fact.

You already have many people telling you that that is not what happened.

Please don't upset yourself. There appears to be only one person getting angry. ;)

Now, can I ask you a question?

How in the world can you think it is ok to withdraw your payment method without the company's prior consent?
To use your words again... how can that not be considered fraud?
  • I never withdrew my payment.

My card expired and instead of them asking me to update the details they took into in their own hands to do so.

The problem is not making the payment but how the company took this into their own hands.

IMO it has fraud written all over it because they altered my card details without my permission.

    Did I say that?

Have another read of my post.

I have nothing more to say. There simply is nothing more to be said.

If they just changed the expiary details. It shouldn't have gone though speak to your bank.
