Normally couldnt give a s**t when R&R but today didnt feel right!!!!!!!
Maybe they're using you as an unofficial price checker and hope to change the SELs before you get to the checkout:D0 -

Ive read all those posts and cant see any decision in that thread. The majority appear to be saying.....keep it, and if they realise their error....give them it back...
We all KNOW that Tescos overcharge most people everyday........they KNOW it as well....but they dont voluntarily give you your money back.....unless you ask for it.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Secondly - Tesco hasn't suffered a loss, therefore no theft. Also no deception, as no percuniary advantage gained. It's a simple swap.
Leadhead has dealt with the other issues.
Surely if you have received R&R (£200ish) on a PSP, Tesco's are minus one console and the customer has paid nothing.
If you then return the console later for a refund, Tesco's have the console back but they are £200ish down.
Therefore Tesco have suffered a loss.
My understanding from the OP's original post was that he had already received R&R on the 2 PSP's, therefore by refunding money on the consoles Tesco are out of pocket.0 -
So on this Fuji camera issue, does anyone know what is happening. In my local it is priced up at £199 and scanned yesterday at £199. In another store it was priced up at £219, yet some are saying it is now scanning at £179.
I have seen the SELs for this in 4 different stores and could really do with a new digital camera!!We took on Mr T and we won:D

The fuji camera issue is really strange, some stores have them priced at £179 and at least two stores have them priced at £219, I managed to find one that had a £199 SEL and scan at £219.
so these are definately worth looking for !0 -

Tesco suffered the loss at the time of the r and r.
The second refund - when the item is returned - is not a loss.
It is just the morals of doing it you need to work through...Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

Thanks for that, it now makes sense to me if you treat the 2 transactions as separate.
The return and refund are not connected to the original R&R, the R&R being where Tesco's suffered their loss (by their choice).
Therefore to make hard cash from R&R activities, you don't need to sell the goods to a third party, you can return them for a refund.
Why do CS mark up you receipt with an R&R note then when they give you an R&R ? I thought this was to stop you returning goods and making money ?0 -
I would love to know which store you based at !, I accept that for obvious reasons you won't tell anyone, I do find it strange that some stores are always easy pickings, but I have two stores that I just can't crack.0
