I wouldn't wait until tomorrow, I'd have my coat on now. Take the box/dvd case thingie to the checkout and pay. If it comes up at £349 you've forgotten your purse, £399 you're onto a potential winner.

CS will be closed which makes it easier to obtain a copy of the sel as you need to ask the duty manager for a photocopy for in the morning. Ask them to write their name down and an explanation of what has ocurred.

Its a bit harsh to call this theft. Doing this might - in some peoples opinion- be a bit morally dubious but I can't see that its theft. Doug hasn't taken the money for nothing in return - he's given tesco back a console that he's decided he doesn't want. He's asked tesco if they want to give him the full cost of the console in return for it and they've done so. Dougs got the money instead of the console and tesco have got the console instead of the money. Tesco overcharged in the first place and, under the terms of their r&r, Doug was entitled to the item free of charge. He's swapped it for the money - its a fair exchange ! Its not like he pinched the money out of the till. Tesco left this option open when they presumably didn't mark Dougs original receipt .

The whole r&r business is all a bit dubious and different people take advantage of it in different ways and have different cut off points as to what they consider 'acceptable'.

HO said that my chq must of got lost in the post so I had to go to the store to get my refund for £300 on monday night and then a chq arrived this morning for £300...think i'll frame this one as theres no way there chq will clear.. or is there.. hehe think i'll frame it!!

Sorry, got confused with Dougs and Leadhead. Whoever it was, I still don't see it as theft.

Yes,...if you go and edit your post and change all your "Dougs" for "Leadhead" it will make it correct.

Going by the Xbox fiasco...........there isnt even a chance theyll realise........give it the same 5 weeks that the Xbox fiasco went on for....you can always apologise.

You could always say you thought one was for all your inconvenience.......lol
