but the SEL labels were still there....

The games have been reported to go through at £6.xx at some stores with £6.xx multisave discount. Other stores are reported to be charging £9.xx with £9.xx discount for the same games. I think the second one may have been a store fix until the Head Office put out the £6.xx multisave nationwide on Friday.

Gives some answers on what some people think is illegal..........and isnt.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

If this was an HO directive, I would imagine it may be too hot (and confidential) an issue for spa2k or Constantine to mention on here.......which I'm sure we all respect...........although now I come to think about it, I recall both of them saying that they had had no extra directives re RandRers.

There is no need for that. All misspriced items are tagged.

Even now, that Fosters in your fridge are beaming back your inside leg measurement.

Very good.............but honestly.....the staff are being so wonderful, as are their managers........Its got to be a "cunning plan"

I was totally unaware of this policy until recently - last week in fact! :embarasse
I picked up a small stocking filler for my smallest son (disney toy - marked as 49p from 98p) it scanned at 98p - I was watching as it went through and was going to ignore it - but decided it was meant to be HALF that price, so went to CS who gave me r&r :T

I have discovered these threads and now can't wait to go again!! ;)

But - ok if it is a big price difference - like HALF price, but I think I would feel funny about 1 or 2p difference?? Although I'm sure I would get over it when I had a free Xbox or something!!! :D

I used to be exactly the same, but will go for these now.

However, I would never go for such a small discrepancy at one of my local stores because imo you do get noticed more when you do these.

So you (as in everyone, not you specifically) moan if you get bad service and moan if you get good service.

Tell me - what is it you would like?

And don't tell me its all prices correct! A quick flick through the thread would suggest thats the last thing the majority would want!

(Not aimed just at you leadhead. Thread in general)

I think, to be fair, the poster was just trying to get his/her head round the concept (As am I) that, all of a sudden, even the CS dragons (and there are several on my 'patch') seem to have had a personality transpant (re-programmed like Stepford Wives at Cheshunt, maybe? :D ) and are now extremely pleasant. Call me paranoid if you want, but SOMETHING has happened in the last couple of weeks. All they need now is to start wearing gingham dresses and my paranioa will be complete. :D
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

That post gives personal opinion, not legal advise.

Guilty as charged....I would like the prices to be as they are now....and the staff to be pleasant.....as they have been recently.....but you get me wrong.....I am in no way complaining.....far from it.......its the "cunning plan" I'm trying to work out......

Its a bit like HO asking everyone who's had a verbal banning from a store to write in to them, as it isnt HO policy to do this................mmmmmmmmm ....Has anyone had their ban rescinded yet.....or do HO just have everyones details now.......I don't know whether its paranoia or suspicion........
