Any mobiles with out of date sel... they all work..but DONT buy more then one on the same transaction as that will kickstart another deal they have on..something like "spend £40 in store and get £20 off!"
so if you fancy more then one fone then do it on seperate transactions!0 -

To help fund my degree I spent 18 months working evenings at a Tesco Extra in the North West, finishing in May of this year. I spent a fair amount of time working on the cs desk and was told on several occasions by managers to offer the difference to customers to see if they would accept it.(And the ones who did not know the policy obviously would accept it.)
I know this is not head office policy, but on a local level it happens a lot as I am sure you know, so it is a bit off you trying to deny it.
I am confused your 1st post on the 10/9 asks about R&R as if you had never heard about it before but this one says you worked on CS at Tesco for 18 months?????????????0 -

do you check price under item on shelf, then see if price on item is higher? Yes
if so i go through check out(does it have to be self scan?) No
after paying i check recipt(before i leave store?) If you want. Don't have to.
go to cs say ive been overcharged from price on shelf
what if they say oh yes ill refund the difference? Point at the big sign behind them.
what happens if you buy something you dont need like camera and it goes through proper price? i would be out of pocket Take it back or get used to owning it.
Answers as above.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

ok,ive read so many posts im bog eyed!
think i understand what to do
do you check price under item on shelf, then see if price on item is higher? YES
if so i go through check out(does it have to be self scan?) IF YOU CAN USE A INSTORE SCANNER TO CHECK THAT THE PRODUCT SCANS HIGHER THAN EITHER THE PRICE ON THE PRODUCT OR THE SHELF THIS IS THE BEST OPTION
after paying i check recipt(before i leave store?) DOESN'T MATTER
go to cs say ive been overcharged from price on shelf YES
what if they say oh yes ill refund the difference? REMIND THEM OF THE BIG SIGN WITH THEIR POLICY LOCATED BEHIND THEM
what happens if you buy something you dont need like camera and it goes through proper price? i would be out of pocket MAGICALLY SAY YOU'VE LOST YOUR CREDIT CARD WHEN IT COMES TO PAY. OR BUY IT, THEN TAKE IT BACK SAYING UNSUITABLE
i have never even noticed misprices and after reading on here im amazed
please help me guys
thankyou
helen
Personally I use the Misprices board to know about definite R&R's as some can be seen to be universal throughout stores; others are 1 off's with stupid inidividual stores...0 -

Some on here dont agree with doing that and say that you should only R&R what you actualy want for yourself and I tend to agree with that. But yes to answer your question you can take it back and yes you can take it back to a different store. Some stores say they have to stock the product but others just take it back.
thank you for ur information and i do agree with u. i will keep the phone. can't be too greedy0
