At a couple of the stores I visited this weekend there was a cackle of cs staff actually dresses as witches, unless the pointed hats are part of the new uniform?

The one we got "served" by yesterday didnt need to dress up, she looked like one anyway!

Her attitude stunk too, now wish I had kicked up more of a fuss and got a manager involved but the OH couldnt really be bothered and will be phoning CS this morning!
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • With all this pretence at being somebody else for Customer Services, it is a wonder Tesco's dont ask for photographic id for any R & R over say £20.

I would class you as the archetypical Tesco shopper (no offence intended, btw!)
You're absolutely right, Clasics. Before stumbling on this thread, it would never have occurred to me to check my receipt. My logic was (although, that suggests I had given it some thought - which I hadn't of course): well it's a computerized system so why check it, it must be right? (tum te tum, I feel like a bit of an idiot:rotfl: )

Postman you are a star! That little problem has been keeping me awake all night  (Cue image of hugely pregnant lady fighting to get over to the scanner with trolley full of enormous TV boxes :rotfl: )

What would "meals on wheels" want with me

LOL Don't you mean 'muck by truck' as my Gran used to call it!

( sorry mods, not on topic I know, but couldn't resist.)

Why if you've been overcharged, you've been overcharged. Why should you have to show id due to their mistake, refunds should be done politely and quickly with the minimum of fuss not the maximum!

TESCO.COM are still advertising the Disney DVD BOGOF but the code is not working at checkout, hopefully this will be the case in stores aswell today. Tesco really need to act together online aswell.

Mobile phones online are still showing the discounted price online, but the offer banner states 29th Oct as the end date?

Just been into a store, and it seems that most of the phones have had their offers extended into November or beyond.

Hi everyone - now back from my hols and managed to bag a few bits whilst away - more books and combats, which will be great for xmas pressies! :D

OH managed to do it in style and got the MP3 too - our first biggie! :T :T :T

No probs with the R&R though she seemed very worried about breaking the news to the Store Manager :o - also told us that the sel £149.9x was 2 months out of date! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Given OH the details of the Sony as we need a new TV but I think it's a tricky one as you have to give name and address when buying TVs ;) - can you really get away with a false one? They are not going to give these away without a fight!

I think this is the biggest one I've seen posted on here since I started reading, though a few years back a friend told me that someone bagged a free computer worth around £1K at Serpentine Green, Hampton - and the overcharge was pennies!!! I wish I had started looking for misprices then - I just didn't realise how many mistakes they made!!!

Managed to get some Free Range Turkey stir fry strips yesterday, sel £2.59, pack price & scan £3.24 - R&R no problem. Don't know if these have been posted before - I haven't kept up with the meat misprices as it wasn't worth looking on holiday.
