If you check the properties of each, the first one is missing a few letters.

Well I certainly didn't see any evidence of a one in front campaign today, I queued for ages.

Also noticed something very strange the cashier served a customer gave them their receipt but not their till spit, customer didn't notice and left. The cashier then put the till spit face down on the ledge by their till - naughty, naughty.

Just back from a rather unevetfull trip, was going to chance my arm with a mobile having spotted the "10% off all pay as you go mobiles" phone in question was a siemens priced at "introductory £89.99". All the other mobiles had the pre 10% deduction price in the top left corner of sel... i did bother reading the small print written in extremely small print saying "introductory phones already discounted"

I wear glasses and would have said "im sorry but i couldnt read that" etc etc, i just wondered if anyone has R&R'ed an "introductory" phone?

kicking myself now as the worst thing that could have happened was i got a refund and returned the handset, but wanted to know if its worth it next time.

My son informed me that the 10% off mobiles finishes tomorrow. Ive trained him to look at the sel

While waiting at the cs desk returning 2 overpriced chickens some one was questioning the price of the ds lite consoles. The cs lady came back with the sel, not sure if it was an over price or not.

Still cant find any of the black combats & they are the right size for my DD :(
Biscuits had all sel taken away, champs & chocs all out of boxes.

Think I may have to give up for a while

It has deployed ZBD’s electronic display to allow it to update any form of rich text content, such as graphics, logos, promotional offers and price changes instantly. The displays are linked wirelessly to in-store systems with a 100-metre range.
‘There is no need for paper tickets to be sent in from head office,’ said Tesco counter operations manager Mark Green.
‘Price changes can all be done in the back office, which filters through to the scales on the delicatessen counter and is communicated to the labels.’
The electronic labelling is simpler for staff to update, reduces the time involved in checking prices, cuts paper use and has been 100 per cent accurate so far.
‘The main benefit is in improved customer service, as they get up-to-date pricing and information, but staff also save time and can better serve our customers,’ said Green."Tesco is extending trials of electronic shelf-edge labelling with a view to installing it at certain counters in all UK stores.

Just realised the paste i did was incomplete. Last bit added below.

" 'However, Tesco is not going to extend the system to all shelves.
At the moment, we are deploying it at just delicatessen counters because it is unique in having a lot of tickets that change frequently,’ said Green. ‘But it would not necessarily suit the shop floor.’ "

Sorry all, cos that was the important bit!

The fact the phone offer ends tomorrow doesnt really mean you will get them on r+r phones are another area they are know to stopp the yellow sels but retain the prices so still check any prices before buying the phones.

I think it would have been a very inexperienced manager if you had been given RanR on this, as it clearly states, the discount is already off the introductory and discounted lines......However, you could have tried..I failed on one of these, but thats not to say you would.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

  • Not sure if this is good news or bad, but after coming back from a short holiday both of my local Tesco stores seem to be very much on top of their prices!

Went in armed with a list of R&R's but everything had correct SEL.
Saw a few of my own 'double' SELs but always scanned at lower price.
The 94p KP Nuts SEL was back up (after i had it removed a few weeks ago). But they have corrected the price now!

Did not try the firelighters or cereal bars.....
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
