Tesco misprice discussion area part 12

Thought this might make some of you chuckle... Visited the CS desk yesterday to find SA getting into the Halloween spirit with witches hats on, they were in thier element cackling away pointing out that I'd bought 4 packets of chicken breasts - shock horror!!!
On another note... I REALLY wish you guys in the North West had encouraged my idea of trying to keep in contact with each other... There's quite a few misprices that I left yesterday and today and am dying to tell someone about them... Anyone near Haslingden??? Nothing major but least you'll know you won't have a wasted journey there0 -
A warning to those who make use of this site. I took my employer to an Employment Tribunal after being bullied, discriminated against and then made redundant. My employer went through all my work emails to try and discredit me. They picked on two emails to a friend. One concerned some meat I took back as it was mis priced. The other was some reduced flowers I took back the next day as they died overnight and Sainsbury's happily replaced under the 5 day guarantee.
My employer claimed, and the Tribunal agreed, that I was deceitful for my actions in enforcing my rights! I was discredited as a witness and lost my claim as I couldn't substantiate my claims if my evidence was not believed
As a result I would recommend ALL users of this site are extremely careful who they tell about these offers. Whilst your actions may be legal it is still possible for a court to use your actions to undermine your creditability in an unrelated matter.
Your employer has deep pockets and in my case spent over £250,000 in legal costs alone fighting my claim. Don't assume postings you put on websites will go unnoticed. Even if you don't send emails at work just looking at a website at work will probably be logged and give your employer enough information to start tracking down your online actions whilst outside work.
As I found perfectly legal actions you take to enforce your legal rights can come back to haunt you.
I am now unable to work through illness and have lost my ill health pension as my employer made me redundant to avoid paying it. Worse still my partner, who also suffered from bad depression, is now dead as she took an overdose following the Tribunal case. The Tribunal ruled that I was not entitled to any time off when she took overdoses to support her or even for her to contact me at work in an emergency/crisis! She felt responsible for my work problems and rather then contacting me when she felt unwell again she followed the Tribunals ruling not to contact me and died as a result!
All of this for simply trying to exercise ones consumer rights! A sick world we live in.0 -
I have a big one for all of you, they are out there and apparently some people have found them !!!
a 32" LCD TV Sony KDL 32U2000
Yellow SEL says £799.97 scans at £849.97, offer expires in DEC
An earlier posting by a Tesco employee ;eads me to believe that they are now aware of the problem, however !!!!!!!!, some stores are slower at reacting to these glitches than others.
Go find them0 -

Amishi, you do know Kevin Kelly reads this thread? I'm sure he'll be happy to know that one of his own CS reps informed us R&Rers about the mispriced TV. Surely that would be classed as gross misconduct on your part? I'll tell you something, Amishi...much as you like to berate and insult Constantine and Spa2k for being "lower" level and less intelligent Tesco employees than yourself, they have never ever told us of any misprices they've come across in their stores. They give helpful and friendly advice, but never cross the line.
"Oh, it's all gone quiet over there....Oh, it's all gone quiet over there..."In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.
Cover up all the pain in your life

So please don't feel blue - let us show you how
To talk yourself into a good mood right now.
Feeling sad is no longer allowed,
No matter how worthless you are.0 -

There are a ton of other reasons why there are misprices but they're usually nothing to do with the till itself.
As is usual in cases like this the marketing department has an awful lot to answer for, but they can be relied upon to shift blame somewhere else - like PID.
And when Tesco advertise prices nationally they are set nationally - which is why it doesn't happen very often. Different stores set different prices depending on their market.
Near me there are 4 Extras, 2 regular stores and a shedload of Expresses and Metros - they all have different pricing structures. So what? So does everyone else. It's your problem if you're unaware of that - not the retailers.0 -
Dont forget to go back and thank Amishi for the R&R lead. It was posted at 14:40 today on page 115.We took on Mr T and we won:D
