ok i will tell you, hoping that tescos arent tracking every move made my MSE members!!

it was the wagamama ways with noodles cookbook. i had fancied some sirloin steaks but there werent any non yellow sticked packs! i dont think i have the guts to do something big like a tv. as tempting as it is. i lost my copy of 'how to eat' so i might keep a look out for that next time.

    Cheers Karnam

It would be almost impossible for Tesco to identify you, as long as you use cash and no credit cards and don't identify the store that you got the r&r.

well done !!, now use your first experience to bigger and better things.
  • Sorry if this is O/T but where is the scanner thread? I've looked all over and I can't find it.

when i got CS the lady did big sighs kept saying how she didnt agree with this tescos policy gave me a funny look as if i had done this a million times before etc. etc. she gave me r&r without too much prob but her whole attitude was rather off putting.

is customer service always this bad when doing r&r?

In my local Tesco the CS Staff have been brilliant, never had a problem, never had to remind them of policy, infact I am now struggling to maintain the "surprised " look when they hand my money back!

I have done about 5 or 6 separate R+Rs since I started this 2 weeks ago, and have had a different CS lady do the R+R, infact most have apologised to me for the inconvieniance!

Have just got back from a hunt, with list, not much available but could have got the new driver pack and packs of lamb loin chops, didnt have any need for the driver packs and the lamb chops were tiny and bony so didnt fancy them, even for free  ( plus the freezer is full! )... must buy a secondhand chest freezer from the free ads.... or wait for tesco to start stocking them;)
  • hoe can you be sure that the sel applies to the right item, eg meat, as some sels seem to be pretty ambiguous in themselves?
They've got cars big as bars
