Well she has money from me that i've been saving up since she was born there's about £1500 for her but i want her to pay for half her first year car insurance and we will pay the other half and that means she doesn't need to worry about huge payment every month for the first year.  Her car insurance is looking to be around £1400 considering her car is worth about £500 total rip off.

So she'll have about £750 to spend on carpets etc and she wants ikea furniture for her room as I offered to buy her ikea vouchers and she was delighted.

I've set up a new savings account and Abbie's BF has transferred over £40 to start it off I've told both of them if they put anything in then they aren't getting anything out until they get the keys to their own place.

Brilliant news on the Avon 😁 Avon perfume is fab, I love the one I got via you. Also good news on Abbie and BF’s plans to move in together at some stage. Car insurance for young people is extortionate until they hit 25. I remember having to pay a lot for Mr SA’s when he was under 25, many years ago now but nothing seems to have changed.

Which one did you get again @Sun_Addict ?

Thank goodness its friday, had to force myself to get up and do my workout this morning but i did it and feel better for it as well.

    Productive day as usual.
Got a washing out and dried and will iron it once my mindees are away (who are sleeping on the couch as they've been out the back all day)
have decluttered my small cupboard in the hallway and also decluttered the jackets in the hallway two, sending 2 to the charity an one to be hung up in their bedroom and another one to be sold.
messaged all my avon customers to say i'll be collecting the books tonight
started my ironing pile before i started work this morning hoping to have it done soon
orders hubby's trainers and his ps4 game for his birthday.  Need to think what else we can get him but that's all I'm buying this week for him.

Got good news regarding sorting out my friends council tax I have managed to sort it out after my friend tried to sort it out for 10 months.  so shes getting her single person discount finally applied after they said she wasn't entitled to it even tho it's only her and her daughter and all i need to do now is to sit down with my friend and get her to set up a payment plan.  This was one of my friends stressers so  I'm glad I could have sorted it out

no gym tonight as it's closed on a Friday but i do have a class tomorrow morning at 8am need to get up a bit earlier as i have weigh in to do.

Wee KK's anxiety has kicked up again that two meltdowns just before we go to school this week, but he's went to school and I'm so porud of him but felt so guilty sending him in but its a must.

I got Eve Truth - the perfume and matching body lotion, I'm really pleased with it, it's a lovely light fresh scent, in the reviews someone said it was similar to one of the Marc Jacobs perfumes, can't remember which one.

It must seem strange to KK going back to school after being off for so long, hopefully he'll settle down soon.

  • Morning,
That's nice of your ex to just drop maintenance and then think that's ok.
How is KK now? Was he ok when he came back?
I haven't ever tried Avon perfume so wouldn't know which fragrance to go for.
What a relief about the council tax for your friend. I don't know how they get it so wrong sometimes.
Have a lovely weekend, I hope you are having some time to relax. x

I had a busy weekend as usual

Hubby had overtime on Saturday very rare for them to offer it so he didn't want to turn it down.  So I got up with him and hit the gym at 8am and it was so hard my heartrate went up to 181........who knew it would get up so high but i pushed myself and may have hurt myself ........felt a pull near my ribs but its eased now after plenty of anti inflammatory and heat packs.  Came home grabbed a shower and took Peggy to my grans whilst I nipped up to the town to get my nails done £19.  Then it was a rush back and pick up hubby from the house whos hobbling about as his legs cramped up on the bike.  Ouch.  Then we picked the boys up and took them to Xander's driving lesson his gran bought him for his birthday, he loved it.

We were right next to the shopping centre so popped in there and grabbed something to eat, this was the first time we've eaten out as a family since lockdown.  It was nice but bit pricey at £48.

Then took Xander to JD sports and et him pick new trainers that were to replace the holiday ones that burst and I got a refund for.  Got nice ones for £65 so he better not need trainers for a wee while.

I have £112 in my plasterer account only £28 to go but my avon customer is due to collect her avon today and its for £27 so I'll just check that towards the account then the next stage would be to strip the bathroom again and arrange the plasterer to come and skim the bathroom.  Also need to message the carpet cleaner to do my bedroom carpet as its really needing done.

Then we chilled out on Saturday night catching up on programs

Yesterday I had a productive day the sun was shining so got 3 washloads out, cleaned the kitchen decluttered the dogs shelf as everyone just checks her stuff in.  watched Sonic the Hedgehog with the kids then I took abbie to her first hypnotherapy session which she seemed to like to I need to get her booked on a 4 week course not looking forward to finding out the price but it's only for 4 weeks.  The lady seemed very nice.  Came home to find MIL has bought KK a huge football goals.  It's massive good job I have a decent sized garden.

Today i plan on sorting out the huge washing pile into ironing piles and non ironing piles then I'll tackle the ironing pile later on.

Told hubby last night I needed to the details of the credit card and he just looked deflated.  I kind of roughly know what is on the card and I know he's only been making minimum payments but i just want to crack on with it and get it gone.  We will be doing that tonight I'll just get him to transfer it to his barclaycard as I have access to that account online.  Have started working out what I can fling towards its this month which should be a big chunk as I'll focus on this until start of November as I like to put money by on November for the black Friday deals.    This gives me 8 weeks to be absolutely strict and get it down as low as I can not sure it will be gone by Xmas tho but I'll give it my best.

Got they gym tonight at 7pm and I've already completed 32 minutes on the cross trainer this morning and I lost 1lb on weigh in on saturday so thats 4lb since i got back from holiday.  Still got a way to go.

Hope everyone has a fab start to their week xx

The hypnotherapy course sounds like it will do Abbie good if she likes it, hope it's not too expensive. I hope you get to find out how much is on hubby's card, I know you're itching to get cracking on it. Well done on the weight loss and exercise, you're so good at rolling up your sleeves and getting on with things. Made me laugh when you mentioned the dog shelf - my mum used to call the floor the dog shelf 😂  Have a great week xx
