Aw gosh, I do not envy your hubby the now xxDebt (1/9/14) £6,702.11 Debt free (30/11/2016) mortgage port- £70,077.82 and mortgage £126,517.39 o/s currently
Debt - £17,190.83 (29/7/22) now (19/8/22) £16,688.803 -
why is it when you want a early night it never happens, thats two nights in a row.
Finished work at 6pm last night has to watch a 40 minute video regarding community centres reopening as it was decided an emergency zoom meeting was needed last night. told them i wasn't available til 8pm as that was when i would be back from the gym. got home and had a 2.5 hour zoom meeting and didn't get my dinner til 10.30pm which is mega late for me
and to top it off my friend has had no electricity for 3 days and nights now so i had her round here the last two nights and i've gave her and her daughter their dinner and charged their phones and power banks. tried phoning all the emergency numbers to be fobbed off saying because the meters aren't registered no emergency gas engineer or electrician will touch them but the only time they've told my friend they can get one of their engineers out is October the 13th. surely that can't be right. these big companies just do not care. she's just messaged me to say her light is back on. for how long tho.
i finish work at 3pm today thank goodness so house will get blitzed ready for the weekend. messaged all my Avon customers as well to let them know I'm collecting books tonight after 6.30pm
Got a quote in for replacing my loft hatch and installing a ladder up in the loft and one has given me a quote for £480. I have another local company coming round on Thursday to give me a second quote and hubby has been looking at ladders at toolstation to see how much buying the ladders would cost and see if that makes a difference to the cost as they would just be supplying the hatch and labour
so I have £300 to fling towards the credit card which i will be getting off hubby when he gets back from work tonight no if and or buts I'm losing patience with him now. and I have £90 cashback confirmed on TB so once that clears that will be getting chucked towards the card as well. Just itching to get it started.
Would have been more but we have booked Abbie into a hypnotherapy block, it's four weeks and oh my so expensive. It's £380 for a 4 week session which will happen for the next 4 Sundays probably for a hour. we've not told Abbie how much it costs as I don't want the guilt weighing on her that its costing so much but at this point I'm willing to try anything for her at this point. Thankfully my emergency fund has not been touched for this as I've just used my normal savings for this, it's what it is there for so that's that account empty again. don't worry I'll have pennies in it from next Friday as I have a standing order that puts money in my account.
right off to make some snacks now i've sorted out my banking xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.054 -

abbie had her first proper session and she felt it went well.
Hubby has given me his card, not impressed tbh but there's nothing I can do except pay it off. So I balanced transferred it over to hobby's barclaycard as I know the log in details for that and my bank card is linked to that so I can send payments over easily.
so hubby's card is sitting at ....................................................................£5095 £95 is the transfer fee tho so I'm ready to crack on with it tomorrow. Can't wait
However a hiccup has occurred, Abbies room which is downstairs has a wall which is wet and damp but we've never had a problem with that before. So we suspect the rendering is needing replaced as its over 25 years old the rendering and we were planning on get this done next year but might need to get it done this year. Not what I needed but we have a few companies coming round to give us quotes in the next few days and we will figure out how we are going to manage it finance wise as my emergency fund will not stretchNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.056 -
Something always seems to pop up, doesn't it? With any luck it isn't an expensive job, but knowing houses, they usually are.

I think Hubby loves you and didn't want to put on you, hence hanging on to the card. Definitely think he meant well.
So pleased about the session for Abbie
Don't know if there's any gov grants or "green deal" type things going about at the moment that might help with the damp? . May be worth a nose around
Glad your all ok
