Hubby’s card not as bad as I thought - is doable and I have every faith in you that you will clear it PDQ. Boo to unexpected house expense though, fingers crossed it won’t be too expensive 🤞

  • Great that you've got the details for hubby's credit card, you'll get through it no problem. Is it that and car finance left to go, I know you mentioned what was left some time ago but I've forgotten sorry.

Glad your daughter's appointment went well.

    Hi @hugglemonster

Yeah I have the car finance in my name but this won't be cleared until next December as it's a PCP deal and I plan on saving up and paying the balloon payment as I plan on paying the car off as I still love it and it's so reliable (ask me that again on Saturday when it goes in for it's MOT)

Hoping to have paid this card off before the end of December 2020 then all we both have left is the mortgage between us, I have the car finance in my name and hubby has his bike finance and that is us.

I will be debt free by Xmas next year if it kills me, i won't be counting hubby's finance as technically its nothing to do with.  Then the mortgage will be getting hammered

    Morning

Finally hubby's balance transfer has completed.  Sent £503.39 towards the card.  Will be rounding down my account every day as this works best for me.

Already done my cross-trainer this morning and have the gym tonight at 6pm

got a wee one having his first session with me today for 3 hours mum is paying me instead of college so I'm just going to chuck it towards hubby's card.

had a muck about with numbers and I'm setting a target of getting this card down to £1300 by then end of November going to be very tight but hopefully I can smash it.

Got a quote to re-render my house, guy not willing to so a temp repair job to get me through to April and has quoted me £4800 for it, not to bad.   Another business came out and will be giving me a quote to do a repair to get me through to April and a quote for a rerender of the house and garage.  Hopefully it's not too bad but at least I will know about the cost for next year.

  • Great that it's come through and you can start paying it.
I have never had rendering so not sure if that is a decent quote. I guess the other person's quote will give you an idea on whether it is good or not.
Fingers crossed the new mindee settles well.
    Have a lovely day x
