hello everyone  I promise I haven't forgotten about you all lol
Just been busy with avon, kids and work lol
well ended up £40 the overdraft as DS needed a new waterproof jacket all the shops where looking for £15 for a really thin jacket popped into TK Maxx and got one for £20 I know it's more expensive but It was a bench waterproof jacket and such better quality that I thought, why not
Also needed some shopping as the fridge was very very very bare lol
Collected most of the avon money, have enough to pay the invoice on monday and I have 3 orders still to collect totalling £46 so that money is mine plus the £14 remaining in the change bag :T will be putting £30 in the sealed tin as hoping for a wee weekend break in blackpool with the kids and my gran during October break
checked the bank and was plesantly surprised that the kids school clothing grant went in which has in fact taken me out of my overdraft :T you might be thinking i'm bad for seeing that money as my own but I have bought most of there uniform so i'm technically being reimbursed for what i've spent so far, still need to get DS trousers so popping into m&s tomorrow to see if they have any in as they've sold out online  also need to get there shoes and ex normally buys the school trainers so hopefully he'll buy them something which i highly doubt :rotfl:NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Hi Abba
Hope you're ok, a mini break with your Gran sounds lovely.0 -
Hi Abba, we're planning a mini break too if we get one come through from the sun newspaper (still waiting to hear!) I've also started on the sealed pot again too lol, just have to keep DH away from it as he thinks it is there to just take what you like when you are running low on cash
I remember getting the uniform grant with DS1 and I also used to do the same as you, and buy it myself in the sales and then keep the money they gave - although tbh it would usually go out again on shoes or shirts, what is it with boys ruining their shoes immediately and getting ink all over their shirts-!
Dh has taken 2 of the kids to watch cars 2 today with free tickets we had and they've gone with a backpack full of sweets :rotfl: I have ALWAYS been too tight to buy cinema's food! if they priced it properly (i.e not 500% higher than it needs to be) i think we'd all buy it! :rotfl:

Hiya :wave:all
I have been missing for a few days so just having a quick catch up on diaries....just a thought but are you entitled to free legal aid? That way you won't need to borrow the money from your Gran, I know online there is a tool for calculating your entitlement try googling it.
When I was going through my divorce (which in 15 days is finalised :j) enclosed with some of the paperwork was a form which stated even if I wasn't entitled to legal aid then I may be entitled to only pay a contribution. Unfortunately I earned too much but as you work part-time? then you might be entitled to this - they take off your expenses for the mortgage/rent payments and household and deduct an amount for your children. Could be worth enquirying about..

if it was going thro a Scottish courts i would be entitled to legal aid as I get help with council tax and housing benefit so technically my rent i pay is only £100 pm and i dont have childcare costs.
lawyer advised me to let it go thro as hes paying for it so i just need to get the lawyer to fight for the finance side of things as hes had two pay rises and hes never increased his maintenance xxxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Can you not get any help by using a Scottish solicitor for the financial side of things ?? Would you then be able to get legal aid?? I know the law differs between Scotland/England, but it seems so unfair....:(Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700
