8 November - Tesco Clubcard Big Voucher Exchange
Comments

Having never bought clothes from Tesco and having a nice load of vouchers to double up, can anyone give me any feedback on the quality/value for money of clothes in Tesco?
Ladieswear or childrenswear for partner/daughters. I don't need anymore clothes
If the quality isn't that great, it will have to go on Toys or Fragrances
Thanks0 -
The first night this went live I found a desktop pc, that I was interested in, I now have my november vouchers but the desktop is not listed in the voucher exchange section anymore but is still in stock. Thinking of a microwave now but not sure I can be bothered to order vouchers only to see it go OOS. What a shambles
I have £140 in vouchers to double up or quadruple for something else, but when I have done that, I wont be collecting anymore. I hate the shop and stopped shopping there a while ago but do use lots of fuel that has gone to 1 point per £2 so I wont bother going there.0 -

My wife says Tesco clothes are not very good value and Sainsburys are much better0 -

Likewise. Used to be an avid collector of Clubcard points, but the changes to the scheme and the mess they've made of this have convinced me now to ditch Tesco altogether and shop at Waitrose.
Slightly higher prices on some things, but a much more pleasant place to shop, with better quality food and much nicer staff. That's doubtless Tesco's fault for not treating their staff as well as Waitrose do, but I'm afraid it's a fact in this neck of the woods anyway.
Tesco - the downgrading of the Clubcard scheme was the final straw. It was a good scheme in its day, but it's no longer worth all the hassle.0 -

Have you checked with Tesco Direct over the phone that the desktop is no longer in the exchange? They seem to be having major techi problems and it may be that it has been caught up with one of their millions of errors? I could not find the desktop I luckily managed to purchase on Monday when I wanted to read about it again last night but when I put the catalogue code in it came up and was still available!
Looks like the site has Crashed yet again!0 -

Well finally managed to order this afternoon. Fair enough there was a glitch on the system, but why did it take 1 1/2 hrs of phones calls & being passed from dept to dept for anyone to realise that? A complete shambles.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -
Just a pointer to anyone using double up vouchers online, you can still use quidco & get cashback on the whole purchase. I got £5.65 for a £166 monitor, where £160 of that was paid for with vouchers.
And another pointer, my vouchers also ended up in my SPAM folder, so if you're waiting for vouchers keep checking there.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -

Glad you finally got it sorted, it really is a fiasco! My computer arrived this evening so I am very happy but did not think it would take a 5 hour ordeal to get it!0 -
Yes it has been a bit of a hassle but in theory aren't we all getting something for nothing or a lot less than normal. I have managed to get my son his new tele which I will be putting away till his birthday and it has cost me £40
I cant complain at that.
Will not have as many points next year
On another subject me and friend have had a nightmare getting vouchers for the panto seats reserved and have been for a couple of weeks but still vouchers have not turned up. On their site stated that we would receive email with ref none came friend called up and was told no thats wrong we are sending it out thur the post. Has been a total nightmare.
