The cartridges that come with a dell printer are usually demo cartridges & have only got a small amount of ink in.

Can anyone comfirm this is the case with the 924 model or do you get full ink cartridges, thanks in advance

Yes, it was the delivery that pushed up the price ..... paid £30.75 for one. You still get £50 off per 924 printer, but no free delivery. Was going to order 2 and try and sell one off, but this works out cheaper and less hassle for me:D

ps. I would also like to know if the 924 comes with demo or full ink cartridges .... anyone  TIA;)

It says My orders been sent on 18/10 and theres also tracking info the estimated delivery date is 24/10, that was fast.

While Googling forund this info for dell 924 fromPC PRO mag

    Just Read this line:
The Dell 725 Colour Printer uses a single tricolour cartridge for all your black and colour output.
erm not happy now as I thoght It would be 2 cart printer as black is easy to refill snf even if you cant refill colour, use black to print odd jokes etc, oh well.

the 924 is better choice if you thinking people as few pounds get you a scanner also.

  • Great post, thank you! Just received 12 x Dell 924's @ £22.50 each. Fantastic value!! As for the ink, I will be using the JR Inkjet refills as it will save loads of money.
Take a look at http://www.refreshcartridges.co.uk for cartridges and refills.
