Take a minimum of 4x£10 off that for postage, plus around 4x£5 for listing and final value fees and your quick century quickly becomes £40 or less for all the hassle of 4 sales - and that's assuming that you don't take PayPal for any of them.

Good point BaBa but going to give it a go to see if this sort of dealing is worthwhile. Don't mind if I break even really, just a learning experience.

Ended up paying just over £21 each (after Quidco) so hope there will be some profit to put in the xmas fund. Will PM you to let you know how it turns out.

What do you reckon to trying the local Freeads paper?

    Thanks,

They phoned me at 8:30am on Saturday morning which I think is a bit early for a Saturday, to confirm when they will deliver it. Then they phoned 5 minutes later! I said I had just arranged it with someone else!
  • I looked into this and if I could have made a fiver each I would have bought some, but theres risk to this and its not worth it unless you buy one for personal use in which case the price is good.

For those who had received their printers (Dell 924 specifically),

What is in the box? I'm planning to resell it in unsealed condition, but I wasn't sure what's in there. Any billing receipt or invoice inside as well?

    Cheers!

In the box is the printer, setup instructions, black cartridge, colour cartridge, power cable, sample dell photo paper, Harry Potter print CD, CD with drivers and software. No invoice, you get that sent separately.

I think the Dell 924 is virtually identical (I'm pretty sure the lectronics are identical) to the Lexmark Z615. Lexmark offer Windows ME drivers for the Z615 on their website so you should be able to use those.
  • The Dell 924 doesn't look like the Lexmark Z615. The Dell 924 is a printer and scanner and copier. The Lexmark Z615 is just a printer. However, that does not mean that the drivers are not compatible, as they might be, but I'd be suprised if that was the case.
