Maybe I have the wrong Lexmark model.

I bought the Dell 725 which is the same as the Lexmark Z735 and I use Windows ME.

Looks like the Dell 924 is a Lexmark X2300 series of some variety. There are Win 98 * & ME drivers available.

Burnham - the dell website says the printers work with Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

There is no indication whether or not they will work with Windows 98 or ME.

Chances are they will come with drivers for Win 98 or ME anyway, but if they don't it should be possible to find a compatible driver on the Lexmark website.

any idea of how long they take to deliver? do dell email you or do you have to check online, have to book a day off work i think

Used to have this problem until arranging with the courier to deliver to work - problem solved (this only applys when the company wont ship direct to work anyway). Work doesn't mind - but i guess it might depend on the company you work for - we only have about 100 staff
