  • So a little update:

    PLAN OF ACTION :D

    [STRIKE]Empty shred machine[/STRIKE] Done! :j

[STRIKE]Shred big bag of papers that have been waiting to be done[/STRIKE] :oDone! :j Though not as straightforward as it seemed as the shredding machine decided to stop working and needed lots of persuading and a little rest!
[STRIKE]sort out shoes in bottom of small wardrobe - which will hopefully make room to move other shoes into[/STRIKE] :)Done! :j Shoes duly sorted out but mainly this was just lifting all shoes and boxes out of the wardrobe, hoovering out wardrobe floor and then replacing said shoes again  I wear all the shoes that are in there - i have flip-flops for summer, walking boots, going out shoes / boots, flat summer shoes - they are all different and i do wear them all so none to get rid of really which sadly means no room for the others
Move toiletries into proper place :)
    Tidy out work bag
Tidy out big bag of things to be moved
    [STRIKE]Move pots[/STRIKE] Done! :j
    wash pots
[STRIKE]Make something to eat if i can face it[/STRIKE] Done! :j
[STRIKE]List small pile of books for sale and once this is done put them in a bag ready to be stored away ;)[/STRIKE] Done! :j
Go through all post and put onto list of file, immediate action or later action
Sort out spending diary *part of finding the pennies as above* and draw up chart of repayments :T

So the new plan of action is:

    PLAN OF ACTION :D

Move toiletries into proper place :)
    Tidy out work bag

Tidy out big bag of things to be moved
    wash pots
Go through all post and put onto list of file, immediate action or later action
Sort out spending diary *part of finding the pennies as above* and draw up chart of repayments :T

I've also been on eb*y to check where my re-lists are up to ;) completed 1 survey and screened out of many more :( Checked for MS's and none to apply for in my area :( 1/2 sorted out suitcases from hols ready to be moved ;)

Rightio - will report back with progress update later :D x

  • Hi everyone :)

Back again though i think deciding to have something to eat wasn't the best idea as it just set my upset tummy off again _pale_ I knew it was a risk but i was hungry - oh well :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: i didn't actually enjoy tea either - i got the cheapest brand possible but i guess i don't know if it didn't taste great due to being ill :undecided

So from the things i had left to do:

    PLAN OF ACTION :D

[STRIKE]Move toiletries into proper place :)[/STRIKE] Done! :j
[STRIKE]Tidy out work bag[/STRIKE] Done! :j And even considering transferring this from a plain supermarket bag to a nice smarter one which will help with my overall look and self-esteem :)
[STRIKE]Tidy out big bag of things to be moved[/STRIKE] Done! :j And had a couple of bits from here to shred but all done now :T
[STRIKE]wash pots[/STRIKE] Done! :j Even though the boiler was a complete pain
Go through all post and put onto list of file, immediate action or later action
Sort out spending diary *part of finding the pennies as above* and draw up chart of repayments :T Partly done - i have a spending diary set up and will need to draw up the chart

Moving the toiletries meant i completely organised the storage area these live in - so i am progressing with the declutter and re-organisation of the bedroom :T:T:T Although there is not much going on in the way of decluttering :o Toiletries i will use so nothing to get rid of there which is both :D as nothing will be wasted and :( as nothing for e-b*y. Also sorted through accessories - and i use all of these so nothing to eb*y there. And earlier, as noted i did the shoe section of 1 half of my wardrobe (i have a small double) and nothing to sell their either - Oh dear i must try harder :o

Next job will be to declutter the top of my bedside cabinet - its full of things that need to be somewhere else :o:o:o - This should result in the actual chest of drawers being decluttered too although these have been done so many times i don't think there's anything to part with in there - they just contain my spare make-up (freebies from magazines and buy one get one free offers) and a couple of sentimental things - valuable to no-one but me ;)

First off a little look at one or two diaries on here methinks and then i'll get going with things again :D

[STRIKE]Sort out spending diary *part of finding the pennies as above* and draw up chart of repayments[/STRIKE] Done! :j:j:j

Woohoo! Never thought i'd get to the end of my list but am so pleased to have achieved so much especially whilst being poorly :)
I've also cleared the top of my bedside cabinet and gone through the drawers too :T:T:T As anticipated there was nothing here to eb*y - i've decluttered these drawers so many times now - and like with the rest of the house expect most things i have now are what i'm keeping because its either a) useful b) beautiful or c) has sentimental value :)

I am glad i've done the top of the drawers though - as soon as i walk into the room it instantly looks better and a more inviting and relaxing place to be in :)

Most of my eb*y things ended and i sold a couple of things so thats all good there :D

Right, going to have a little read and then i think it'll be bedtime for me :) Tomorrow i still have hopes of running, baking and clearing out my underwear drawers :D - This will probably just be a case of reorganising though but i think there are some old pj pants that i've had for years and are beyond salvaging for anything - i guess this isn't the sort of thing i should admit to :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Would love to have the funds for matching undies and nice pjs - instead i'm hoping someone will treat me to some nice pjs for xmas :D Well i can hope :o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Wow, you were busy yesterday DDFW! You achieved loads. Well done on the ebay sales!

It sounds like you've made loads of progress with the decluttering and tidying.

Grr to the car problems, positive vibes heading your way for a cheap repair.

Do you like the Body Shop? This month's Cosmo has free gifts on the front of a lipgloss, cadbury's fingers and a body shop gift card of £3, £15 or £100. I think the gift card is specifically only in the copies with the other two gifts. I got a £3 yesterday.

  • Thanks for that jwil :D - i also like fingers and need a new lip gloss too - just hoping i can find the magazine in the shops now as i haven't already noticed it - hmmm ;) Really hope i can get one now :D

I'm being a little naughty and thinking of not running today  OH woke me up a few hours ago and it then took me forever to get back to sleep so feel a bit bleary eyed and rubbish at the mo. Not to mention my upset tummy :( Am going to go for a walk shortly and will then see how i go on :)

Do you know jwil - these were niggly jobs that needed doing and i am so glad i got them out of the way :j I think i struggle with a build up of paperwork / shredding and *things that need to be dealt with* due to being out of the house with p/t work and f/t work from 8.30am - 10pm during the week. But i still think i need a better routine for this as it really annoys me with how everything builds up :o

    So today :D

Walk to the shops and hope for the magazine - ta jwil :D
Sort out my 2 underwear pj drawers
And the top of this chest of drawers - again will make the bedroom look and feel so much better :)
    Baking :j:j:j
Transfer old work bag to new work bag :T
Make a start on wardrobe declutter - choose one section and work on this

*What i need to explain here is that i have 1 small double wardrobe for clothes. I have no drawers - only drawers are underwear and pj drawers. I have no shelves for woollens, scarves etc. etc. I also have nowhere to store my coats or jackets. Yes, this is a small house and i know that other people on the street take their summer clothes and pack them in bags in the loft and then lift out their winter wardrobe. This is not something i do because i can't get into the loft anyway (currently saving for ladders) and also i don't have alot of things that are specifically summer / winter. So all this long explanation is to explain that i cannot fit all my clothes into my wardrobe :eek::eek: Which is why i need to declutter as the house will be better and tidier for it - and hopefully i'll raise some much needed funds off e-b*y too*

Right - best get myself ready for my walk :)

  • Haha - just walked to the shops - approx 2miles round trip :T and got the magazine (thanks to jwil :D) well in thw shop there was the one with the lip gloss and fingers - and no mention of the card  and there was the other one - same magazine with another mag but none of the freebies and no mention of the card so i bought the one with the freebies ;) Got home opened the mag, threw out the bits of paper that are in them after checking the card wasn't there. Then flicked through the mag for the card and then read the index to see if it was on a particular page - nope :( Oh well i thought i've got a new lipgloss and some choccy fingers :) and then on the floor i spotted the little card :j:j:j it must have dropped out of the magazine when i opened it Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee! :j:j:j Can't you tell i love freebies :D Thanks so much jwil - i think you've just made my sunday :D

So i walked to the shop in my jeans - which are far too big - this is both :T and a little :undecided because these are too big but my other jeans (which i've kept as a measure of my weight loss) are still too small  But i've decided the jeans i've had on today can go into the washing machine and then onto eb*y - i don't want to get up to that size again :naughty: Which means the clothing declutter has begun :j:j:j

Before going to the shop i cleared out 1 underwear draw - this resulted in throwing away 4 items - not possible to recycle them into anything else and 3 of them i've had for about 10years :o :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: so it was definitely time for them to go :)

Now i'm going to go and do the second drawer and i may go for my run :o i'm so wanting to lose some weight but i also recognise the importance of rest days in exercise so am still somewhat undecided. Plus it'll wipe a couple of hours out of my day which i don't want to do really hmm....

  • Well after all my complaining i went for my run - which was very hard and i did walk a bit more than usual :o - i do think i need some stronger tablets from the docs though so this is definitely not helping...

Today has the potential to turn into a bit of a spendy day :eek::eek: My little fingers have been typing in searches and i have found a dress i have wanted for over 12months - this will be my xmas party dress and i'll also wear it loads more too ;) This is of course if i am the winning bidder and if the price doesn't rocket up to the heady heights that the others are at :eek::eek: Clothing budget is definitely something i need to incorporate into outgoings - i like to make an effort and look my best and clothing that fits and looks nice and i feel good in is all part of that. But as usual i have to look for clothes second hand or that are in the sale so i'm still trying to keep it MSE ;)

Ok the drawer is not going to sort itself out so as i've had my shower, washed my hair and put the washing on so i'll go and do that :) and see what else i can get done too

    Hello everyone :D

I was very lucky to be the winning bidder on my dress yesterday - and for a reasonable price too - actually got it for a lower amount than the maximum budget i had set myself :j:j:j

So i have now logged this in my spending diary :T

Made my way to the train station only to get drenched by some !!!! who sped through a big puddle drenching me - and as i was on my way to work i couldn't go home and get changed :( I got the number plate but what good will that do ? Its just so annoying when people are so rude like that :(

In brighter news thanks to the lovely jwil i managed to get a little treat from body shop - tried to get one of the elle magazines with the gift card on but no joy :o I also used a free train ticket today - saving myself nearly £7 :T:T:T

I have also picked up my first MS in months :j:j:j

Got screened out of a survey again and 1 of my free bingos has stopped :(

So a real mix of things today - Ooh i guess as the train ride was free and the treat was free then today has been an NSD :T:T:T Now to aim for a few more of those ;)

Hope its been a good start to the week for everyone :)

  • Evening everyone

Brr! Its freezing!!! i have thick pants, socks and a jumper on and i've had to put the heating on too :o Although it was a very cold journey home and the ground was a bit slippery with frost

Had a totally wasted morning today but as this was caused by someone else and i can't change it now then the less said about it the better i guess :(

Checked for MS's - sadly none :( been screened out of several surveys but got 1 completed :T My e-b*y items ended today and despite several enquiries from various people about 1 item - no bids :( Well i'll try it one more time on the next free listing and then i'm giving it away as an xmas gift - its a new with tag item so that will be fine - it was bought for me but its just not my style at all :(

Ok, time to put some happy looking faces on this post :) - We're halfway through the week tomorrow so thats good news :T Bought some reduced price bread which will see me through meals the next few days :) Although it scuppered my NSD :o And i've asked work what hols i have available - due to changing my hours a couple of times its all got a little confusing - once i've got times available i'll be seeing if there's any chance of a little bit of time off :D And i must, must, must list my books on amaz*n this week

    Morning DDFW

Eventually caught up with your diary. Haven't been on as much as usual. You certainly are getting things organised. I am doing a bit too!! I got some whoopsied bread in sainsbugs and have freezer now full to the brim. Have to keep going don't we. Just woke up to find I have been charged twice for an As*a home delivery order delivered last week. I am due one this week too so am awaiting call back for authorisation to pay me back...grrrrr.

Hope you have a better day today and not get soaked by some pillock!!!
