Morning DDFW
Eventually caught up with your diary. Haven't been on as much as usual. You certainly are getting things organised. I am doing a bit too!! I got some whoopsied bread in sainsbugs and have freezer now full to the brim. Have to keep going don't we. Just woke up to find I have been charged twice for an As*a home delivery order delivered last week. I am due one this week too so am awaiting call back for authorisation to pay me back...grrrrr.
Hope you have a better day today and not get soaked by some pillock!!![/QUOTE]
Hi ebayqueenGood to hear you have been doing some organising :T But Grr! to be charged twice for the same thing - hopefully they'll give you a voucher or something as an apology
And haha - you put things so much better than me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I was due to go out this weekend again but have just about decided not to go because a) i can't afford toand b) without the MS money i am seriously out of pocket each month
So i'm thinking of staying in and continuing with the declutter of my things in the bedroom - this will hopefully generate some good e-b*yable items (i'm hoping for some clothing items here
). I have all my clothes to lift out and make decisions on and a few pairs of shoes too. After this i've still got my jewellery to sort out - none of it gold sadly  And my basket of buttons and finally my records. I didn't actually think i'd stay on target with the deep clean and declutter but if i get this room done by the end of the month then i will only have 2 rooms to do in December which is all according to plan :T:T:T Means i can start 2012 with a nice clutter free house :j:j:j But this will mean i will have no items to eb*y :eek::eek: So...
I'm also going to sit down and get my pen and paper out and work out other ways of creating an extra income stream  I will also put the books that i've been meaning to list onto amaz*n - someone nudge me on this please - after trying and failing on this years ago i've been put off doing it again
Today i worked p/t and f/t, checked for MS's - none and got screened out of the surveys i was sent. And i've got it all to do again tomorrow except i'll have 2 x p/t jobs to do in the morning so its time for bed - hope you're all okCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
morning ddfw
I am sending you a big nudge to get those books listed:):) Best time of year to do so. People starting to buy now for Christmas. Up since 5 as recycling bin blew over and the sound of tin cans was driving me nuts. Got up, went outside and sorted it:):) That woke me up:):):)
You are putting me in the mood for end of year clearout though am busy today and at work tomorrow. Will definitely make a start very soon. Need to hit utility room very shortly and get loads of ironing done before I have to call the rest of family.
Take care DDFW

Hey DDFW, loving the colourful posts! Hope everything is well, and glad you got the magazine freebie in the end!
I agree with ebayqueen, now's the time to get those books on, so when you've got a sec just do it! Barcode, price, description - that's all you need! Check what they will cost you to post and check that what you will get will cover this and a profit."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi all
Woke up this morning feeling dreadful _pale_ but had grocery shopping to do and then the pots wanted washing etc. Just got on with the day whilst feeling sorry for myselfi was still going to go for my run - have some pants i want to fit into! so needs must and all that and am very pleased to say i did my run and am pleased with myself - though i still feel bleurgh!
I seem to have a cold / tummy bug thing going on for ages now and i'm really not sure how to shake it off - will just keep doing my best i think
The only other thing i can think to do is have a couple of days off sick - spent under the duvet recovering but as thats not going to happen i'll just have to plod on
ebayqueen and jwil thanks for the nudgesi'll aim to get them on tonight - though i can't check postage cost as i've no scales mine broke and i've not been able to replace them
- when i bake / cook i just guess the weight of things :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ebayqueen - wow you were up early but i am also the kind of person who can't just ignore a noise like that  You sound like you get loads done anyway and what with your sales on amaz*n and eb*y you must declutter lotsI am going to continue this evening i think with my skirts or dresses hmm... will let you know how i get on - i think i need to wear my better stuff more often so making this decision should hopefully help me to decide to get rid of the very worn things i have
Jwil - thanks for the heads up on the magazine- please do let me know if you see any more offers like this and of course i'll do the same for you
- i used to always get a magazine and often more than 1 a month. Now i try and check what offers are available and buy the magazine if its something i want / will use and is cheaper than buying the item separately but thats about it - i can't justify the spend on a magazine otherwise
I'd better shower now after my run and hopefully that will help make me feel a bit better too - i had some tablets earlier which cleared up the headache so will see how i feel laterhas anyone got any esciting plans for le weekend? I realised i know how to live when i cancelled my night out to stay in and sort out some stuff to sell (hopefully - this is in the form of the great wardrobe declutter) and plan out some money making ideas - i am just so very rock 'n roll :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon DDFW, make sure you take some time to yourself and relax somewhat. You need to look after yourself as well!
You're welcome about the magazine. I used to buy lots, and then just stopped. I do get passed on a few now which helps, but I will buy one if I see a good offer. It's very rare now though.
With the books - I think it would be safe to assume that unless they are very big, they will cost £2.48 to post. That's first class, small packet rate for 251-500g. Most books fall into this bracket. You might have some which fall into large letter which is cheaper, and of course if you use 2nd class it will be a bit cheaper. The next bracket up is £3.05 up to 750g.
We're off to a kind of Christmas fair tomorrow. It's one we go to each year as it's local to us and has a lot of crafty type things. Won't be buying anything but I like having a look for ideas and stuff. Not very rock and roll either.
Other than that, it's free listing on ebay, so guess what I'll be doing "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hiya all - bleurgh! I was mid-reply earlier when the comp decided to play up
So, i'm not listing my books on amaz*n today as i have a few weighty ones and there was a fair bit of interest on them last time they were on eb*y so am going to re-list this weekend and then try amaz*n. I'm a bit anxious as i don't want to list them on both and sell them on both and then end up with bad feedback
So in the time since the comp froze and i decided to try and get it working again i went up to the wardrobe :eek::eek: - it does sound like something ominous or is that just me? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I think i'm going to need a different approach  I'm keeping all my skirts and shorts :eek::eek: - i will wear them all (i really will when i can fit into them all) I tried 2 items on that were too small - 1 fits if a little tight and the other is still too small. They weren't expensive - less than £10 each - so i can't see the point of selling them for £1 each when i'll get lots of wear out of them when i'm back to my trim self
The thing is i then went through my jumpers and thought yep i'm keeping all of these too  The thing is i need to get rid of some things so that everything will fit in  Think i'll start tomorrow trying stuff on and deciding what suits me
Am hoping for a good nights sleep - had a disturbed nights sleep last night - which probably didn't help with my stomach - i can feel actually ill if i don't get enough sleep.
PLAN OF ACTION
1, re-list items on eb*y
2, Empty kitchen cupboard
3, big walk
4, big run
5, big run
6, sort out records
7, move 5 items that are not in wardrobe
8, stack up chairs
The above is my plan of action for this weekend. i do think a little rest is in order for today until i'm feeling a little betterCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hello all
The day has started ok with a lie-in and then a [STRIKE]little [/STRIKE] long walkI'm just waiting to see if we can get the heating going so i can venture upstairs and tackle some of those clothes
Got a couple of surveys done and screened out of others  Had a look for MS's but sadly none availablei've moved a bit of washing as i've had to run up and downstairs a couple of times
Still felt completely yucky when i got up but i do think having a rest yesterday and waking up naturally today has helped a little
I have taken a day off work this week - although i'll still be at p/t work and will have grocery shopping to do but i'm hoping this time off will allow me to catch up properly and get the bedroom declutter completed for the end of the monthAlthough i really should get up and do some now
Maybe when it warms up a bit
My plans for the weekend have changed yet again and i'm going out later - in fact quite early rather than later so i'll need to be ready for that too
Hope its a good weekend for all xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hiya DDFW
Glad you have got a rest. Hope the batteries are recharged for the week ahead. Enjoy your day off this week and do only what is really necessary or you will burn yourself out.
I am exhausted this weekend. Been in bed very late last 2 nights and then up really early too. So looking forward to sleeping tonight
Hope all going well for you today.
God bless
