  • Hi all :)

Was really quite ill last night _pale_ felt terrible when i got up but emotionally more settled :T - probably was a bit more unsettled and letting things get to me due to being under the weather :undecided Needless to say work today was then a long hard slog - can't remember when i actually got to sleep straight through the night :o Tried to get some time off work but got declined for today and tomorrow :( but accepted for a nice long weekend thursday :T

Currently doing 2nd lot of free bingo and then checking for MS's - this is the longest time in a long time that i've gone without picking any up

Jwil - many thanks again for the advice :D right now i can't take any time off trying to raise money as things just seem to be getting tighter  and i am worrying again about bills / balances / keeping things ticking over. If i stopped right now i'd just be fretting :o

  • Hi ebayquuen and hope everythings ok with you and its all settling down for you :)

Very madly methinks i'm planning on going on a somewhat random 10mile run / walk :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: its a run / walk as i'll run until i can't run any more and then i'll walk - hopefully at a brisk pace ;) then i'll run some more. I just need to get out - currently all i'm doing is going out to work and back home again and need the 'headspace' this will give me. Also have still got this weight waiting to be removed by a gruelling workout  So exercise which is good, free and needed and some time in the open air - or the pouring rain as it is right now  and some valuable time to think or not consciously think if that makes sense? Am not planning on doing this today by the way :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but am thinking of friday and saturday and sunday - give me a nudge if i don't report in with my gizelle like speed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Pulled myself out of my stupor to put in 2 small complaints - hopefully will net me £6 - was necessary but just got to the stage where i couldn't be bothered.

Done banking, 2 x free bingo and still no MS's on the horizon :(

Working at my p/t job tomorrow - 2 shifts - just got the day off f/t work so an early start and probably back late afternoon and then to make progress in the horror that is the kitchen :o

Good luck with the runs, it will certainly blow any cobwebs away!

  • Hi all :)

Well all good intentions of going for a run have been scuppered - i think my legs got news of the fact that they were required for some exercise and i promptly pulled a muscle at the top of my leg  Its fine except i think i'm walking oddly as the leg has given out on me a couple of times so now when i step i'm making sure i can support myself before transferring the weight :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just made a very small payment from the spare change i had in my pocket and had paid into the bank ;)

Also am very full after just having tea that cost me approximately 10p :T:T:T

I've also made a start on the next room i'm deep cleaning and decluttering :T and want to do a bit more to catch up on this past week of neglect :o but i'm going to just have a minute to myself and catch up in diaryland :D

I've also done the final bits i needed to do on the path - no-one else would have noticed but i am really pleased as its another thing waiting to be done thats now been crossed off the list :T Although there were a fair few pesky little weeds in the garden - i did pull some out but some were just so tiny - oh well - this sort of work will always need doing with a garden and i am very happy to have a garden so there we go :)

Have done banking, 1 lot of free bingo and 1 to do. Hoping i come across some goodies to sell but as its the kitchen i'm doing now i doubt that very much - but i do hope so thats good :D

    Hope everyone is well x

  • Oof - deep cleaning and decluttering the kitchen is probably one of the hardest and longest jobs to do in this house  Still, i've actually got a bit more done than i thought and aiming to make it to the halfway mark on the cupboards today :D i've uncovered some bits of pots to give away and also some bits to hopefully sell :T so there is a bit of decluttering and re-organising which has been done :)

just had a cuppa :coffee: and will do the next cupboard shortly :)

    Well done on the decluttering!

By the way, I've found at boot sales, that kitchen equipment goes really well if it's in pretty good nick. We've sold some, but I've also seen people dive in when it comes out of cars. I was looking at a baking tray once, put it down, then changed my mind, but someone had already nabbed it!

Aw thanks for this jwil :D as much as i love kitchen gadgetry and have been lusting after a fancy shmancy retro style coffee machine for like forever i doubt i'll have any actual equipment to sell. The things i've found to sell are more like collectible freebies like egg cups :) - i just don't have alot of equipment :o

Haven't got half way on the cupboards as i'm shattered and have done enough. Though come tomorrow when i start on the double cupboard i've left i'll think to myself i should have done it today - typical eh? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The good thing at the moment is, having attempted the ultimate declutter several times over, i'm now at the stage where i know what is being kept is essential / useful /loved - this really does feel like the final declutter for a long long time :j:j:j

As i've done 2 part-time shifts today and the grocery shopping, moved this. made tea, washed up twice over (and spent forever faffing about with the boiler without managing to get hot water ) and done some ironing as well as the said declutter and as todays meant to be my day off i've now poured myself a little drinkipoos

  • You know, isn't it lovely to do lovely things with smiley positive people and doesn't it make you feel like you can do anything? :D Which quite possibly explains why i'm pondering going for my run as i certainly need to get out and clear my head a bit - get all those cogs turning in the background as all i'll be thinkings is 'i can't breathe / why are people walking faster than me / surely i must have been running for over a minute now so can have a little break?...' the list goes on :o but my sensible side knows to try and run on my leg when it has already proven unreliable as its given out a couple of times already could make for a more painful injury

So i'm going to tackle the 2 cupboards i didn't do yesterday :D i'm now clean - took nearly 2 hours of running up and down stairs, messing about with the boiler but finally i got enough hot water for a shower - the fact this lasted just up to the point where i needed to rinse my hair did leave me feeling a bit brr! and goose bumply but all done now :T Going to look at applying for another 0% card :eek::eek: and increase the amount i owe :eek::eek: because i am getting to the stage where i cannot live with the boiler being like this :o

Righto! best get a wriggle on as i'd like today to have ended with me having completed more things than just a wash :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
