Well done on the ebay sales! It all counts.
I'm the same with constantly waiting for home time or the weekend. It's not good.
I've also found in the past, that working two part time jobs is much more tiring than working one full time job, even if the hours worked out the same - so to do full and part time is not going to help with your tiredness!
Hope you have had a good day x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi all
Hey jwil - yes i know working 2 jobs is hard - everyone is always telling me not to do so muchI wonder if they think i actually want to do these things to earn money. I do point out that i wouldn't do them if i didn't have to
no-one knows about the bills
So i've just done a PAD with the money OH owed me :T
I've also done 2 x free bingo, 2 little surveys and screened out of another.
Requested funds transfer from sales
Signed up to an MS that is very late at night  what was i thinking? oh yes, that'll be it - the money :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Scootled around looking for more MS's - none *sigh*
Had tea that cost 25p- although i'm still peckish but its bedtime soon so i'll avoid eating anything else
Think i'm going to be aiming to have 25p teas when its just me from now on- must try and remember this as it'll be fab to save money this way
Just checked my listings and there's just 2 items with watchers
Rightio! Just going to open my mail and then bed! Lots to achieve tomorrow xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
What did you have for 25p, I'm curious!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Morning all
I am up later than i wanted to be today but thats what waking up in the middle of the night panicing about money will do for you isn't it?In truth i woke a few times in a fret over work and money
I must admit i have wondered how i had the time to do MS's when the last few weeks have been full enough just working at the 2 jobs but i am missing the money
And today i have to spend some money - and i don't have any so it'll be going on the interest free card  My foundation ran out completely so i am going to buy a foundation and a bronzer - the reason being that i have 2 products that i received free but in no way give me the coverage i need and a bronzer works brilliantly with them. So buying the bronzer will mean i can use 2 products i already have but i know i will not spend the time on my make up like that every day so that'll be my weekend going out make-up and my new foundation will be my everyday one that is quick and easy to apply :T I also have to buy a new notebook for my course
Yep most of my course materials arrived yesterday which i had a mixed response to reallyFirstly it came a week earlier than expected which in some ways is a good thing but in other ways i wanted the house to be more organised beforehand - well the things are here now so i thought ok lets open it up and see what the plan of action is so i can try and get a bit of a start - erm nope the study guide isn't included its on-line and won't actually be on-line (i believe anyways after much faffing around last night) until the course actually starts. Meaning i can have a look at the items i've been sent but without any sense of direction or what i'm looking to get out of them pah! I suppose on the plus side of things i *should* have decluttered a fair bit before i'll know what i need to do for my course
So today is just work - have had most of my p/t hours cancelled this weekbut i knew i'd only get the hours when they need me its just what with no MS work and no p/t hours its a tough tough month!
Just shopped around for home insurance and we'll be sticking with our current provider, at least its a job thats been done now.
I managed to get a fair bit of reading done yesterday and a small amount of knitting :T i was supposed to do some running this week but feel i'm going to be delaying this due to necessary lunchtime shopping trips  Will also be chasing up a doctors appointment this week though i doubt i'll get in until next week - part of the reason no doubt that it all drags on so much... ho hum! Roll on the weekend i sayCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi jwil i missed you there!
A very cheap tea of a 25p packet of noodles - i really like them
Tonight it'll be scrambley eggs on toast :T Thats if there are any eggs left or bread and this works out at about 25p for my portion too :T so all good there
Bleurgh! Off to work!CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
That's the sort of thing I often eat when I'm on my own too. Not scrambled eggs though, bleurgh!
That's a bit annoying about the study guide, maybe they will release it a bit earlier. At least it gives you the time to continue with the decluttering though! When I was doing OU, I always liked to just read through the books to start with without looking too much at the assignments and course materials, then I would go back and work through more methodically, and with a general idea of the course overall.
It's not fun fretting about work and money, hope you have a better night tonight."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi all
Hey jwil - with this course its all study material and i don't know how it works together
I missed my scrambled eggs last night and had cheese on toast - my train got cancelled so i was sat on a freezing platform for over an hour waiting  I had no money on me so couldn't even go into the coffee shop for a warm upi sat reading my book intending to knit when i got on the train but my hands were so cold i just carried on reading  i then got in after 11pm and proceeded *to my mind anyway* put the heating on. It didn't work - what has been temperamental for over 12months is now being a complete and utter pain. So as its getting colder and wetter i am fretting over the pool of water which apears behind the front door each time it rains
The guttering which has failed creating a waterfall down the house - yes thats just got worse too  and heating that doesn't work - 3 big jobs none of them cheap and i've no money for any of them *sob*
Methinks i need to earn me some decent money to pay for these things - thinking cap duly donned but its having the time to earn from a new income stream. Well i'll set some time aside on Friday and start getting the pennies in shortly after
Another complete waste of time yesterday was my sojourn into town for make-up and a notepad - decided i'd get the make-up with the free gift which was worth more than what i was buying and would make a nice gift - erm no the sales assistant who wasn't the best sales assistant in the world informed me there were no more of said free gift left. bah! i did look at other brands but none of the offers were suitable there either - resulting in me leaving empty handed - and i still *need* to buy these things.
I also couldn't find the notepad i need so i'm now having to go to town early to buy these things before work. I would say i'm looking forward to the weekend but as i've only got sunday off i'm actually looking forward to next week instead...
In money news i've looked for MS's but got none, i'll be able to make a small pad tomorrow from my bingo wins and the small amount of money i've requested from paypal, done a couple of surveys and some free bingo - more to do later.
Hope its a good wednesday for everyone xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Sorry to hear about the guttering, door and heating - it must be so frustrating. Is there not some way of 'bodging' the guttering and the door temporarily so the water is not coming into the house? Even if it can just be diverted a bit. Is it a door problem? Could you perhaps post a 'wanted' on Freecycle/Freegle, to see if anyone is getting theirs replaced?
I can sympathise totally, there are a lot of things we are just holding our breath on and hoping that we can get a good bit more use out of them because we can't afford to replace them yet.
Booo to out of stock free gifts though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hey DDFW, not sure when it is, but I've sent you a little birthday gift at BP. Hope it brings you lots of luck!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi Everyone
Feel totally bleurgh today - didn't help that i got up early to try and get an appointment at the docs to no avail - oh well that'll be me up early tomorrow then to see if i can get inThe reason i'm annoyed is that a) am shattered and b) the doctor said last time that when my results are in i can pre-book an appointment and he'd make sure this was on my file

Aw thanks hon - the door lets water in and i can see no way to stop this - the problem is that this goes under skirting and wall next to the front door. The door desperately needs replacing and as we know new external doors aren't cheap  i don't even have a budget for this as i think the gutters are more of a priority as these go around most of the house - and at about £600 *i think* slightly more affordable than the door and i do have a very small amount saved up towards thisThe guttering is actually failing all around the house so all needs replacing  it does sicken me watching waterfalls around the house when it rains and if its raining and i'm not at home i can just feel myself tense up over it
I also know you posted about work your home needs so i do feel you understand and having someone just understand helps if that makes sense
On the free gift thingy i did the right thing not purchasing anything as i went back in yesterday - no free gift but a multi-buy offer on :T Meaning i got 1 of the things i needed for free anywaysHey DDFW, not sure when it is, but I've sent you a little birthday gift at BP. Hope it brings you lots of luck!
Wow! Thank you so so much jwil that is hugely generous of you and has made me all happy :dance:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
