Hi all, Am feeling hell-ish today
Still am heading off to p/t work in a few mins and will be home just after 10pm this evening so jsut got to keep going for today
In good news i received a very small amount of MS money today allowing me to make a pad which has started to catch up on the £40 minimum payment i'm due to make to my target 1 - £14 paid so £26 to find and another £14 due into my account tomorrow from ebay :T This is from £40 i borrowed off myself this month when i made the huge overpayment and then had to get the money together to cover it
Hope its a good day for everyone, back later xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hope you feel better soon DDFW. Let me know where your new diary is if you start another one, so I don't miss you!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi all
Just got myself a cold beer out the fridge  and am soo glad the f/t work is over and done with for this week! Think the beers wasted on me as i can't taste anything properly :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Righto! Don't think i'll start a new diary - this ones fairly short and i had hoped to start a new diary when i start on the mortgage overpaymentsBut once i've got all my ideas in place i'll probably pop a title on the page to mark the new chapter :T
Feeling a little overwhelmed with everything i have to do this weekend - got a bit of a back-log of stuff from what i should have done last week which includes sorting out home insurance- evidently not a job i love, need to double check when MOTs due on my car - usually very organised with this so i'm feeling a bit out of sorts with things
Still feeling rotten but trying to shake it - the party i was due to go to has been changed to a meal out :eek::eek: i have no pennies for this
will check with OH if he's going to cover me - it is his friends after all
I also want to look utterly fabulous for this - so step back to make room for the big hair people :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Really need to start thinking about my other goals - at the moment i'm just like 'where can i make extra money, where can i make extra money...' hopefully refocus tomorrow
Hope everyone else is wellCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Don't try and do to much this weekend, you'll achieve more if you don't put too much pressure on yourself.
Enjoy your meal out if you can persuade OH to pay - love the big hair idea
Have a good one!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
And the day starts with refocus :T:T:T Goodo!
So much to achieve and a full-ish day to achieve it in today too - starting a bit later on things so i feel will finish a bit later too but thats fine
Car MOT checked - due far earlier than i thought  but its not this month - phew!
Load of washing done and its currently drying - so the necessary domestic jobs tick along with the other bigger things that need thinking about / planning & plotting
Oh yes! I added to my boiler fund yesterday too - itching to pay this off the bills but as i've explained - it is uneconomical and time consuming to use the boiler we have - full heating has to be on to have any chance of getting hot water and it can takes ages of messing about to get everything to workSo saving for a new boiler should make savings in the future
And its all from money i borrowed someone and never expected to get back so as it trickles in i wasn't expecting to get it so don't miss it

Hi jwil
i missed you just before - i must admit when i'm typing on here i am usually doing other things at the same time, free bingo, e-mails, mail so i can start typing and then not finish the message for ages  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Yep Big hair and very high shoes will be the order of the dayOH is paying - i did say i wouldn't go as i didn't have the money for it - it will be one of those meals where instead of it costing the usual £40ish for the 2 of us it'll be about £100- £150 because the bill will just be split and there'll be several bottles of wine ordered, starters, mains, sides, desserts, after dinner coffees and drinks again - its fair enough but its just beyond my budget. So that bits sorted out
Now to try and feel well enough so i can at least enjoy it
I have been working on my 12month plan - which starts this month so on 1 or 2 things i might be a bit behind  Its good to have just got it all down on paper though i've still a fair bit to map out. So far done categories, now going to split them down into goals :T But a little break was in order
I've also tackled part of pot mountain and moved some of the dry clothes etc. Shredded lots of paper too
I haven't yet made my pad as OH needed me to order something which used up my pad money but i will get this back off him and so make the pad after i;ve gone to my bank to put the money in - takes up my whole lunch hour and really don't think he takes this bit on board
Just got a hot drink so will just have a quick read round and then think about teaCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Aarrghh! lost my huge post *sob*
Extremely edited version is: - emptied out all cupboards putting contents in living room - right now the living room is a mess! Oops
Wrote out some goals for my future plans :j:j:j 1/3 of the way there on the writing - have 12 categories and each one gets a target for each month - sounds loads but when you see one of the targets is: read a non-study related book. LovelyThen you read, reduce debt by £1000 this month *crikey* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Currently alternating the two tasks of cupboard and targets - need to make some serious inroads before OH comes homeCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi,
Didn't want to read and run.
I have been reading about you feeling so poorly. I suffer from under active thyroid and have done for 20 odd years and I can assure you that once your tablet dose is sorted out you will feel like your old self again.
And if you start feeling rough then you will know that an adjustment in the dose is needed.
The only thing I suffer from now is difficulty losing weight.
It is a great idea to write down your continuing concerns for the doctor as I know I always forget something I wanted to mention when I get in the surgery.
I hope you are sorted out very soon.Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Hi o2bfree
Many thanks for stopping by and your supportive wordsSorry to hear that you have an underactive thyroid too - they are pesky things aren't they? I do completely trust that once my tablet dose is right then i'll be back to my usual bubbly self
I just get so frustrated
because my tablet dose has never been right since being diagnosed the dosage keeps being increased but at the mo. i don't feel any different
I have probably moaned about it quite a bit through as i say frustration and lack of information - as other than telling me my thyroid is underactive and will be always the docs haven't given me any more info. - I know i wrote down everything i wanted to say to the doctor this time - crying stopped me saying any more last time
:o:o - exhaustion and frustration combined i'm afraid
:o:o Apologies for the whinging though
Weight gain is shocking - it was one of the reasons i asked for my thyroid to be tested as apart from everything else i gained like 9lbs in a week :eek::eek: - am starting to tackle the weight issue though as part of my life over-haul
and the doctor did say i need to exercise
I did think once the tablets were sorted out the weight would drop off is this not the case?
Anyways really, really do appreciate you stopping by and being positive for me. xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Loving the sound of the future plans, are you going to post them on here? Don't worry about being a little bit behind with a couple, because even if you don't quite make the deadline of your birthday next year, you will at least only be a few weeks away. It sounds fab!
I hope you enjoy your meal out, it's nice that your OH is paying.
The weight thing - I hate to say I don't think the weight does drop off once you get the medication sorted.Hopefully it won't be quite such a struggle though. With the increased energy you'll have, you will probably feel more inclined to get active and make the healthy eating choices to enable the weight to come off again.
When I was diagnosed with epilepsy, the medication made me put on about 4-5 stone in a year, without any lifestyle changes. (In fact with increased activity as I had to surrender my driving licence). I was on the medication for about 10 years, each year gaining more weight. I came off it a couple of years ago and hoped that the weight would just drop off but it hasn't. (Although admittedly, I haven't actively tried to lose weight, but I certainly haven't lost any as a result of coming off the medication). I'm hoping that when I do get focussed properly, it will come off nice and regularly.
