  • Hello everyone :)

Well i forced myself into action - i was quite tired but there is alot to do and alot that i can do to make living here better and easier  So i checked the projects that i have set myself for this month and have made a fair bit of good progress :T:T:T All i'm doing at the moment is re-organising / deep cleaning / de-cluttering room by room :D i'm then jotting down in my trusty notepad all the jobs that then need completing in that room ;) So far i have done the 2 smallest rooms :T Next room is the kitchen  hmm... that may take a little longer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have also decluttered a book, already listed for sale :T and have managed to declutter 2 other items straight off to the carboot pile :T

I have a fair bit of reading on my to do list - information not course related but important but nows not the time so tomorrow that will need doing tomorrow :)

So will just check what else i need to do and then its bedtime

Well done on the decluttering! Shame about the trains, how annoying!

  • Morning everyone :)

Well with just 1 day off this week (today) it really doesn't feel like a weekend :o its just the way my shifts fall. So last night passed very quickly but i am very pleased i got all the decluttering done of 1 room - it was the last bit of it and that has been done as thoroughly as it can be now :T:T:T Next room is the kitchen and i'm going to break that down into 1 area, shelf, or cupboard a day and take my time with it as its got lots of things in then i want to take my time and do a good job ;)

I also want to make headway on the other projects i've got on the go right now :) and really need to list something on e-b*y but have nothing new to put on there just now

I've done free bingo today, checked banking, checked e-b*y, checked for MS's none :( Right another cuppa beckons :coffee:

Well done on completing a room! I should really tackle my kitchen too, it really needs it. I like the idea of just doing a shelf or cupboard at a time, it makes it much less daunting.

Well for various reasons i have not done a single thing i planned on working on today  Just means i'll be playing catchup for the rest of the week then ;) If and its a big if :D if i manage to get up early tomorrow i should make some headway :T

bah! didn;t sell a single thing on e-bay :( oh well...

Hey jwil - yes for me to tackle a whole room in one go i'd need a substantial amount of time which i don't have and i would also become tired / frustrated and not do the job as well as i intended meaning it would need to be done again fairly soon. This way i set the pace at a reasonable level knowing i have enough time to complete it (by the end of the month) and that the job won't become overwhelming ;)

(((hugs))) DDFW. Hope everything is ok. PM if you want a chat. Hope you feel a bit better today.

I'm looking forward to the weekend as well. Maybe you could try having a day/evening/couple of days off from the whole moneysaving thing? Every so often it all overwhelms me as well (like you, usually when I'm stressed about something), and just taking a day or two off from it helps a lot.
