Jwil - I don't know if this will reassure you, but bra fitting is different these days. M + S have followed the posh underwear retailers and fit by sight (and a bit of trial and error) rather than having to undress and them measuring you.

Thanks Chocforever, that's good to know. Maybe I'll try again sometime. :)

    Evening all

Good news about the bra, pants to the bill .... sorry couldn't resist that :)

Hope you are feeling a bit better this evening. Terrible weather isn't it. Feels like October here.

    Take care

Ooh! First of all hi everyone

Chocforever Its good to hear that your MS's curb your spending :D I agree about the amount of time though, the time i spend searching for the jobs, actually carrying out the assignment then writing the report - if i think about it and compare it to the fee amount it really doesn't add up. Especially this last 2 weeks or so where i'm looking and looking and not finding anything :( At the moment though i'm just thinking i need to do them for the money. And regarding bra's - i've never been measured either - i just go with what fits best :o

Oh yes i am still completely under the weather currently coughing like a seal :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - that doesn't mean i'm clapping my hands when i cough just the sound i'm making :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Eager Elephant - hi and hope the last however many pages weren't too dull for you :o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I'll try and answer all your questions :) OH doesn't want to spend money on certain things as he doesn't see them as things that need to be done. An example of this would be that we need new windows - ours let water in that streams down the walls :o windows are really old so need replacing so its like a maintenance issue but OH is happy to spend money on the things people see like furniture etc. hope that makes sense. I do try and explain that we need to do certain jobs to keep the house nice as whats the point of decorating only to have water running over it all! The bills - these are split 50/50 but there are some things which i pay and some which OH does e.g i might pay 1 houshold bill of £40 and OH will pay another bill that is the same amount.

I wouldn't say OH is not on board - he doesn't know about my bills :eek::eek: its just that he doesn't take it on board when i say i've no money and then wants us to spend lots on things - they are things i'd like to do holidays, home stuff but then with the homestuff for me the maintenance comes first

I will set up a separate bills account when i've cleared the debts - at the moment its just all about balance. I do thank you for your input but its also that my money comes in at all different times at the mo.

Also :eek::eek: to you telling your OH about having separate accounts - take it he was ok with everything though? :)

ebayqueen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: at bra... pants :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - just my sort of humour :D

And yep weather is rotten - and i'm finishing the garden tomorrow :eek::eek: i'll be fine and my wellies will appreciate the rain :D

So today has been a bit of a mixed bag - got screened out of every survey i tried to do :undecided - Checked banking, both bingo's done ;), MS done and report written :)

Went to shops and got a huge pizza, a whole cooked chicken, bread, 5x meals for freezer, steak and potatoes - all reduced so came in at less then £10 :T:T:T Just got to do the freezer cram :o

Checked e-bay - more watchers but no more bids, sorted out a couple of bits for e-bay tomorrow and hoping for a free listing weekend so i can get some of the more pricey bits listed ;) Thank goodness someones outbid me on the dishwasher :D the relief! :D

Came home to post - 1 of my amazon books arrived :j:j:j a credit note :j:j:j and some details i've been awaiting on :)

Checked again for MS's and none out there... ho hum...

Well....I don't suppose he had much choice did he :rotfl:

It was working well until he became ill earlier in the year but last year he could see the consequences of his actions ie his minimum payment crept up although he still brought a truck off ebay and put it on his credit card (£5000+ )

What it did mainly was to give me peace of mind so I wasn't constantly worrying about him spending money we didn't have as once we had seperate accounts it was none of my business :T

I also do Mystery Shopping but don't do as many now as last year as I am working 4.5 days a week.

Also I seem to be responsible for the majority of the housework although DH will help when asked. Last year I was only 2 days a week so had the time to do it, this year I am working more days but due to DH's illness he can't manage much although will help sort the washing etc.

Have a good day in the garden

Hi Dedicated! Fantastic shopping result there, well done you! Hope you find some more m/ss - when I was doing them, I found that even if I made a loss on the actual shop, if I wanted to go to the place the shop was, then it still helped me cos it paid for my transport (and once for a map I needed to buy, of the area I now live in).

    Hi All

Eager Elephant - i didn't mean to post and run earlier but was running a bit late :o and am due out to work again shortly too :( still its work i do get paid for so can't be all bad :) Wow - that truck is a huge purchase. Regarding MS's i try and pick up as many as i can but its been so quiet lately that i'm not sure if i'll reach my august target  At the moment i'm at the stage of pushing myself to get in as much money as possible but i have to remember that i am shattered and until they can get my medication right for my thyroid then that feeling isn't going away - so i also need to try and rest up too. As with everything its all about balance :)

The e-bay stuff is hopefully decluttering and creating money but also with the decluttering making the house easier for me to manage - i know its hard working doing MS's etc and then the housework too. Hope you get some time to relax EE x

Hey KC (a la Benny the Ball :D) yes i still think the MS's are worth doing because of the position i'm in i need the money and i look at it that way too - that it can give me something i need - the other day i got my transport costs covered and lunch and dinner so was definitely worth it for me to do. I haven't had any for a long time where i can get things to stock up on the gift stash though.

I have also just picked up an assignment :j:j:j For a place I have wanted to get a shop at for ages :D One of my most favourite shops :D but sadly i won't be able to enjoy it too much as it will be a mad dash in my lunch to get it done

Right got to make my PAD, partway through free bingo then off to work - and all i want to do is go back to bed :o Hope its a good day for everyone :D
