Thanks ebayqueen - am up have a cuppa :coffee: and am awaiting the docs opening so i can get on the phone to them - hope they can fit me in and can actually do something for me. Like i say i have been several times and just get told 'carry on as you are'... great!
Sorry for the grumbles last night guys - i just got so frustrated and upset about being so weak and tired - especially when i knew how bubbly and full of energy i used to before all this *sigh* Really do feel quite emotional about it all
Gosh between this illness and the debt worry i really am nothing like the person i used to be - again something that needs to be addressed
Will let you all know how i get on

Ok, not the best start to the day
Booked in at the docs but i'm going to be late for work so probably will be working through my lunch this next 2 days to make up for it
Yes, that'll definitely help me stop feeling exhausted :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: oh dear!
Then toddled off to do my MS - spent £4 getting there and had printed off lots of paper and spent some time learning the scenario only to have it cancelled and i'm not being paid  Today alone was over an hour getting there and back
I guess i'm also anxious because i'm betting it will be a complete waste of my time going to the docs as i'll get the usual 'you'll be ok when the tablets are sorted' and in the meantime i feel completely rubbish
and then i'll think it was pointless me even going because i'm so run down and going there will make me feel even more so...
Right! I'm boring myself now :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Ok, i'm going to the docs so they are aware of how i am feeling and it can get recorded wherever it gets recorded that i have been to them for help again. There is nothing more i can do other than this (apart from taking the tablets which i am doing).
MS - grr!ness! what a waste of my time and money - and all the faffing i did in preparation too and even though i felt exhausted off i went dragging myself there today. Well, I have taken the decision not to do any more work for this company  Just waiting the payment for the last work i did for them and then i'll decline any further jobs.
Work - what can i say - i'll work hard when i'm there, still looking for something new and at the end of the day i am not 100% so i am going to the docs.
Money News:
Sold another item on e-bay - all only at 99p but still its money coming in
Checked for MS's  none as yet

Hi All!
Normal service will resume shortly
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: huge apologies for grumpiness earlier. A few tears got it all out of my system
The silver lining is that i will be eating 3 regular meals a day - or maybe 4 small ones
cutting out many cups of coffee and swopping these for fruit juice or water and snacking on fruit and veg
This isn't the reason i've been so run down but i want to be in the best shape i can be
and be looking after myself as well as i can
Put a few applications on for MS's - not holding out much hope for them though as i applied for these a few weeks ago and wasn't selected and now they are very urgent!
I had some comfort food today 80p - so this didn't go in the pot
but i resisted a magazine with 2 fab freebies included so i'll be popping those coins towards my bike :j:j:j CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Morning all
Well its wednesday which means that le weekend is on the horizon :T:T:T which is going to be a busy one  i had hoped for a rest on one of the days but Saturday i'm having my hair done - sadly i'll have to get up early for this but should hopefully look nice once its done
Sunday its back to swimming :j:j:j again an early start as after the first hour lots of young people turn up and have fun jumping in the pool and i spend half my time swimming around them - and also worry they'll actually jump on top of me
So a couple of nice 'for me' things going on. I'll try and get some more reading in - just started a new book and i can't put it down so may have finished that before the weekend anyways
I will list some more things on e-bay - aiming for another 10 new items
Didn't sell alot last week but once they are listed they are easy to re-list
I also want to finish the work in the garden that i can do at the mo. So thats finishing the path - filling the garden waste bin up again and getting out the potatoes :T:T:T which we can eat for tea
I have done 1 lot of free bingo and currently on the 2nd lot and also need to check banking before i dash off to work :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Glad you are feeling better today DDFW, did you get on ok at the doctors? If not, have you tried seeing a different one for a second opinion? If this has been going on for a year or more, it's too long to put up with.
Well done on the ebay listings, I'm hoping to get some more on this week as well.
Are you still reading the Patrick McCabe? I've got that in my TBR pile. Is it good then?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi all

I'm not too sure what to do about the Great August Plan and the PAD - both do help to keep me focused but as i've paid off a huge bill this month i haven't left myself anything spare for PADs
The best thing i think is to step back and regroup
basically, i have been shuffling bits of money around covering certain expenses that have been a little unexpected - collections, meals out etc. so i want to get myself 'all square' as they say and then start afresh
- be better than chasing my tail like i feel i have been doing
In view of this i've covered my minimum payment to target 1 just to ensure thats done
and now i'm awaiting money arriving from MS's to do any overpayments
An item came up on ebay that i managed to win :j:j:j Delighted as i've wanted one for many, many years - its nothing rare and there are loads of them on e-bay but i just kept getting outbid
Figured i'd need to increase the amount i was prepared to pay and luckily i won a bit of money the other day - and this has just about paid for my new item :T:T:T As i usually throw everything at the debt it was a big decision to use the funds for myself - but i am excited now about its arrival and getting to grips with it
This is one of those things where i think - well i'm not getting any younger and if i want to do something that i didn't have the opportunity to do as a teenager why should i not do it now? Ok, its going to cost some money but the fun i'll have will outweigh that
This is all part of me focusing on myself and who i am - if that makes any sense? I have been so overwhelmed by debt that i haven't thought about whats important to me in this life other than getting the bills paid. So, in the spirit i have been looking at new things i'd like - i may be rubbish at first but i can only get better
So with running and swimming now in a routine i'm ready to add in the next things

Hi jwil

The doctor as predicted said i just have to carry on taking the tablets and having the blood tests until they get it right
Hence the tears
I have seen different doctors and apparently other than prescribing the tablets there's nothing more they can do.
Finished the book - i preferred butcher boy TBH but i still enjoyed the read
Now listed it for sale - i have soo many books i cannot keep them all

Glad you got something nice on ebay, especially if you've wanted it for ages.
Shame about the doctors though, it must be very frustrating!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi jwil - ta
i'll probably post about it eventually - just don't want to make myself too identifiable
Well - i've got a cold again  i only just got rid of the last one! i think this is to do with me feeling so run down but what can you do? - currently coughing away. Very tired today as i didn't sleep well and i kept coughing which was keeping me awake...
Well, kinda fab news on the free listing on e-bay for the more costly things i'm putting on there
but i still think what i'm listing is in the limited category - i.e i can only list 3 items a month and i may already have done that
Couple of parcels to post out today 2 x p/t work, lots and lots of house cleaning but as i'm not due home until 7pm no idea when this will get done  Supermarket shop also needs to be done. Its all fun here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Finished another book last night - thats 2 in just over a week :T but it was one which made me a bit weepy
Excellent read though
Now added an other essential saving category in my sig - the gutters! there's just so much work that needs to be done here - new windows, new doors but i am unable to pay for all these things at once
- so the savings for the boiler is from money i'm owed but never expect to receive  the brompton :smileyhea is from 'fritter money' so when i look at a magazine, choccy bar etc. and don't spend on it this gets put into the fab bike fund and the gutters - the change in my purse gets put in a jar and when it builds up to £1 is transferred over. Its all slowly moving but its all in the right direction which is good

Ooh, is it free listing this weekend? I haven't seen a notification yet.
What book were you reading?
You're doing really well DDFW, and hope your cold goes soon!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
