Good luck with your ebay sales!
If the £12 dress is useful for 3 nights out you have planned, then it is a pretty frugal buy. If you bought the dress and didn't ever wear it, that would be a different story"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi jwil and many thanks for the input.
With the dress I will carry on debating it methinks  I REALLY would like to keep it as I then have something nice to go out in. I'll see how the next few days go.
Yesterday was a NSD :j this was sadly balanced by todays spends:
£61.28 - on getting the car up and running - I know it could have been worse but it seems to have turned into a real money pit of late. Have to remember even if I do sell it in a few months it would never have sold for as much had it been without an MOT and not running...
£40.37 for food shopping - should have been done later in the week but it gave me something to do whilst car was fixed - I had got it going this morning and was then stranded  Have got my receipt for Mr. M's offer thoughCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
So things I will use this diary for: -
1, post daily where possible to help keep the focus. Even if posts aren't necessarily about money - thanks hypno for this, some really good advice on your thread
2, In the spirit of joining challenges, again to keep the focus, do a SEALED POT challenge. Will be digging out a jar and fixing paper lid later :T
3, To post about positive and cheery things too, sometimes everything seems doubly hard just because of the debt and I am sure I would have a different perspective if it weren't for the money i owe / don't have. So to put some happy news in too.
4, Keeping a track of funds and budgets naturally
5, TADA lists - because they help to show progress even on the tougher days

Hi InaPickle *waves* back
Yes was fab to meet you and the others last weekHope the dog walking was good and that it wasn't too slippery out - It is very icy here.
Well, I just had a shower - I know OH finds the times of my showers very unusual. It takes forever for my hair to dry though and this way I get some happy snooze time in the morningand whilst having the shower I remembered something else to add to my list
So here goes:
6, To keep a track of the work that needs doing on the house and shuffle this into some sort of priority
The reason I was reminded of this whilst having a shower was that the boiler is broken and currently has a temporary fix - it cannot be fully repaired and i have no funds for a new boilerThe shower is also broken - setting is either boiling or freezing  New bathroom was a priority when we moved in but as I was then made redundant I have never managed to get the funds to do this. Sadly, these are just a couple of the jobs that need to be done. BUT, these things will all get done in time

Well done on the mystery shops.
I like the idea of a list of house jobs and putting them in some sort of order. I could really do with something like that."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hiya everyone,
Well i didn't get to post yesterday as OH took me out for the day :j
I did have to spend £20.40 thoughthis contributed to petrol and food and drink. We had a lovely time though
And at night the sky was really clear which meant we could see the stars and this was fab!
:D
Have completed 1 MS today which I need to write up later and picked up an extra MS for tomorrow. I had wanted a quiet day tomorrow but I now have 3 MS's to get to so I will need to plan my route
Priority job on the house methinks is the guttering - just got to ring for a quote so will do that tomorrow after I have gone through my diary to see when I am around
A very small TADA list today, I have moved the pots :rotfl::rotfl:
