brizzledfw - thank you so much for the advice and support. I was thinking along similar lines but hadn't quite got 'there' with the idea of carrying and using cash. This is what I need to do as I can leave the necessary money in the bank for all the DD's so that I know these will be covered. :D

jwil - hi again - yes paid them back and left myself short so have been e-baying and looking for MS's to try and get some funds back :o

Money News of the Day £27 profit transferred from e-bay. Enjoyed an MS meal out yesterday.

Today I have completed a survey taking me very close to payout :j I am now going to go and dust upstairs. Lots to do today so will keep posting my progress

  • Update: -

Upstairs, landing and stairs are now dusted and vacuumed. Washing machine is doing its thing. Gone through 1 part of wardrobe - basically summer outfits (keeping these saves me a fortune each year and they are all fab, just my style and i feel great wearing them), tops (mainly t-shirts and 1 or 2 tops for going out all fab and I do wear them when the weather is better) Jackets (for winter and summer - far too good to let go for pennies and I wear them all at some point in the year or other - note I am not getting a new jacket this year for Xmas) pashminas (brill, instantly changes an outfit and I can wrap up in it when it goes cooler on summer) 1 top put for charity. Now off to do some of pot mountain and then another coffee - I've had just one so far and need more.

1 load of washing dried and sorted, 2nd load of washing done and drying, final load of washing doing its thing. Living room dusted, tidied, vacuumed. Found a couple of things of OH's that I think are for ebay so put to one side to check with him when he gets in. Started 2 business plans and have done 1 page - sure it will be added to in time as it really does make you think with the questions I am responding to so is thought provoking and thus takes some time. Completed a survey and trying to do my bingoport. Now off to dry pots and do last bit of pot washing. :A

Wow, you've been really busy, it's making me feel tired just reading about it :rotfl:

  • All pots are washed and all washing done. Last load of washing is drying now and then ready to be put away. Also sorted basket of wool and got next knitting project ready for the commute as I should finish what I am working on early this week. Completed 3 pages of Business Plan and set up Page 4 ready for tomorrow.

Transferred a further £14.50 from the books I've sold to my bank.

Looking forward to being back on an even keel with bills and then i can start some over payments.

  • Morning everyone, Just quickly popping in as I've been catching up with threads whilst going through my MS report and am now just about to head out into the cold for work - I don't work outside mind it's just all the standing around at train stations to get there. Right positivity - There is going to be the perfect job for me advertised which has just the right hours and the right pay! :D

Ok, best get my skates on I've alot to do before my usual *throw sandwiches in a bag and rush out the door*

Hope it's a good Monday for all

Thanks for inspiring me yesterday DDFW! After reading your lists of what you had been up to I felt decidedly pathetic so went through 5 drawers of paperwork, sorted, recycled and shredded most of it!

Hope you have a good day!

  • jwil - thank you for your post.

It's actually a good thing i did so much on Sunday as I have barely done anything since, its quite simply as much as I can do just to get to work at the moment. Definitely have to book in at the Docs when I've time. Just can't lose any work hours just now and my p/t work doesn't pay if I don't go in. :o

I needed some new make-up this week so took myself off to the shops and got what I needed - luckily it was on a 3for2 offer and also got some face cream. I had just about run out of these and was taking forever to get ready because of it. SPENDS came in at £20 and some odd pence  This was all necessary spends but still EEK!.

I have also discovered I haven't got a gift for my friend for Xmas - well I had something but this was used for someone else and not replaced so I have to go and buy them something before next week.

MOT and Car tax are due, it just all feels like it is spend, spend, spend, when all I want to do is get rid of this debt so I can really enjoy life Am convinced December will be a better month and will see some overpayments - positive vibes all please :D

On a better note Food Shopping came in just £1 over budget.

Hope everyone had a good Wednesday, off to have a deep and relaxing sleep x

Positive vibes headed your way :)

My MOT is on Monday  and my insurance is due mid-Dec, so it's not going to be a good month for me moneywise. Fingers crossed the MOT goes through ok.
