  • Many Thanks jwil I am going to lose my internet access for a few days :eek::eek: but will be back. Had to come on and post at this late hour in order to confess my Spends:o:o

Ok, After only going over budget by £1 (on a muchly reduced food budget) I then spent £27 in Mr T's EEP  But after thinking it through will not be getting myself all upset over it. £10 was on a gift for my friend as mentioned the other day and due to the 3 for 2 offer it made sense to pick up stuff for 2 other people to and these are stored ready for next year (scarily organised I know) The rest was on food I hadn't realised we needed :o and some great offers on food stuff that we would only buy at full price next week anywho's. So all in all spent more than the £13 I had budgeted for but is all going to be used and am happy nothing was frivolous so no worrying about that.

    Then...

Had a voucher I needed to use before it expired so further xmas shopping was done, had to add £5 to the voucher but all in all saved me loads using the voucher and hopefully a great gift :D

That doesn't sound too bad - if it's things you were going to buy anyway, bar the presents for next year(!) :T then it's saved you money long term

Hope you are not without internet access for too long!

Hi all! Well I'm back but in a bit of a grr! mood.

So much to update - car failed its MOT so that was another £140 spent - and yes its £140 I did not have :(

Now I'm back online I'm trying to catch up - went out last night with friends - had been at work all day and then a quick change and out food was great, really good to catch up with friends though i do remember getting a little tipsy  This is part of the reason i am so keen to get debt free to enjoy times like this more often as it really was a treat to go out. Spent £5 more than I should have done but still the standard of food was easily the best I have had in a long time.

Friends invited themselves round today which is great except the house has been transformed into the absolute worst mess it has been in a long time. Yesterday i had left 3 loads of washing done waiting to be moved before going to work. Still sat there now

Ok apologies to all for the rant and now focus!

I have dusted and vacuumed the lounge - now tidy time!

Also several weeks ago I saw some shoes in MS that i fell in love with, great for going out in and will give me a real boost in terms of feeling good about myself, confidence etc. I am not buying any new clothes until I am back to my usual size but a pair of fab shoes for £35. But yup! I really don't have £35. Must list on e-bay today and then have a little think  Supportive words needed x

Ok more clutter to tackle and a badly needed shower to be had - might make me feel a bit brighter - need something to pull me out of the grump mode I am in this morning :rotfl:

Will feel better I think if can get this room finished so am going to do a bit more.

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.

Sorry to hear about the car, mine failed it's MOT too. It is really annoying. Sorry to hear about the car not starting either, that would be a pain!

My DH does not understand the concept of housework either, it must be a man thing!

Sorry your car didn't pass MOT either jwil - will be popping over to your thread for a bit of a catch up soon i hope.

Oh I have also washed pots and given all worktops a bit of a wipedown in preparation for a good clean :A

Now off to check the state of my bank a/c. probably a peeking through my fingers moment even though its all been car spends - Car Tax was paid for too :(

I have decided i am going to record my daily spends here. That way i can keep better track of what I am spending and on what so i can hopefully cut out any unnecessary spends.

Having said that *ahem* I just purchased a new dress :o:o:o It is very pretty and was muchly reduced to £12. I need to try it on after and it will go back if it doesn't fit but if it does fit then i know what I'm wearing for my works do and 2 other festive celebrations :D:D

I also did the rest of the grocery shopping - £12.65, got quite a few whoops items in there so thats all good. :)

Lunch for 3 of us - £4.55 :eek: I have stopped buying lunches when out but was still very cold and thought ok just this once before the end of the year a little treat for us all and was yummy and filling too.

Yesterday after saying how much i wanted those shoes I got another amazon voucher through that I'd been waiting of. I used this to buy some sandals in the sale - these are really free as I did not have to put any cash towards them. :D:D:money:

Hope its a good monday for all x

Well the dress fits... not sure how I feel about that - its that guilt feeling of spending £12 which could be paid to debt. :o However the dress is just my style, lovely fit and at £12 for a branded item a true bargain. :D And, given my weight gain of late :o I have been REALLY struggling to think about what I can wear for a night out. In trying to reduce this weight I have made very slow progress as have not been able to get out and run as getting out walking is treacherous in all this ice! I know, excuses excuses :rotfl::rotfl:

    *** Dusts myself down ****
Today I made £20 at p/t work (rounded down )
£10 I was owed has been paid back to me.
Am currently mid-calculations on funds OH owes me, current princely sum of £19 which i know will at least double once I've added everything up. :D
Yesterday I listed 30 items on ebay *crosses fingers*

My 50 day challenge is drawing to a close so I have been busy sorting paperwork. Hoping to do some of business plan tonight whilst OH watches the footie
