Eep! decided to leave the listing on e-bay until friday night or an evening over the weekend as it'll have a better end date then
Ho hum - why is shifting excess weight and debt so hard work?:rotfl::rotfl: I am pleased to report that i have kept up with my running at lunchtime - i don't manage to run very far but i am pushing myself a little bit further each time and it must be doing more good than me just being sat at my desk all day
I want to run for a number of reasons - a priority right now is a return to slimness - i don't feel good being this size
When i was going out with OH at the weekend i decided what i was going to wear - came to put it on and it was way too tight - zip wouldn't budge on it
:o:o i had to go out in my typical leggins and an oversized top - which was tight on me
- the outfit i had intended to wear was actually a bit big for me when i used to wear it too
So, i now run 3-4 times a week - ok not at a fast pace, not for long, and not covering a great distance but i believe the more i do this then there will be improvement
I am also not having a meal when i get in at night - really eating at 11pm is far too late! but as i have something to eat at around 3pm i am usually very peckish by this time. So i've just been to the shop and bought some milk to go with supermarket own brand cereal which is quick, filling and perfect for supper during the working week
I have stopped drinking alcohol - although we are going out for a meal with friends in a few weeks and they have said they are looking forward to us all having a drink together. May actually have to have a drink this night as they are having a tough time of things at the mo. - i'll just have to choose my drinks carefully
I have also cut down on the amount of bread i eat - taking crackers for lunch instead of sarnies!
I am hoping to start a new exercise class this week and swimming at the weekend - though i'll definitely need to try my costume on beforehand :eek:
Thinking slim thoughts- oh and of course i'm back at the doctors in 2weeks about my tablets and hopefully this will help too

On the shedding the £'s of debt front i have picked up a couple more MS's, got a few items ready to list on e-bay and have already made at least £25 with the items i sold this week and the one's that have bids on which are currently listed.
The big set back just now is that i go on holiday in a couple of weeks and have no spending money for this  So i really need to list on e-bay to try and get the funds inalthough i'd much prefer this to be going off the debt. I think i'll aim for £300 to take (no meals are included) and try and see as much as i can whilst still being frugal on the spending front. So i think a good prtion of extra income will be sidetracked into holiday spends as i have no wages due until i get back off hols
In other news. I have a confession. I have asked to reduce my hours at work - this will slow down the debt repayments massively but i dislike my job so much i feel this is a necessary step.
Righto! Am not setting off for work until a bit later again todayfingers crossed the train is on time

Well done on the exercise and ebay sales!
I think if a job makes you that miserable and you hate it that much it becomes draining, and no amount of money is worth it. By reducing your hours, you will be freeing time and energy up to do other DFW stuff and also to look for a job that you actually like! So whilst on the surface it may not look like the best idea, in actual fact it may turn out to be much more profitable!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi All!
Been busy working *bleurgh* and also doing MS's and subsequently writing the reports - also returned to my free bingo and am currently shattered!
Need to get my head around my money this weekend  Picked up several MS jobs but then had p/t hours at work cancelled - which would have provided the necessary float for said MS'sThis is something I need to think of when i put my July target down that alot of the MS's do involve spending money - so that cash is needed at the time so need to work out the float thats needed and try and ringfence this somehow.
Good news is though - completed 2 MS's yesterday and 2 more today and 5 lined up for this weekend.
Erm! On a completely girlie front I'm thinking of trying to arrange for me to have a make-up lesson at one of the beauty counters in the department stores - hoping that the cost is redeemable against a purchase. This feels a tad ridiculous as i am a grown woman after all :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: But as I never had friends who were into make-up when i was alot younger and also as my mother, bless her, didn't give me any advice either, i feel i could do with some pointers to help make the best of myself. Also, i've struggles *alot* lately with finding a foundation that suits me so hoping this will be positives in lots of ways 1, how to apply make-up properly2, finding a foundation that suits me and my skin tone
3, the confidence this will give me knowing i know what i'm doing with that foundation brush so I start my day feeling more positive and confident :j
Ooh I feel a list coming...

Ever considered enrolling on a make-up course, Dedicated? There should be some starting in September.
Actually, scratch that - with everything else you've got going on, more study is that last thing you should be thinking about!:rotfl:

Re the make up - no need to pay for a course......head to one of the department stores, or the body shop and just ask one of the girls who's make up you think is nice and not overdone to guide you through things - if they think they will get a sale out of it, they will do really well.
I did this with a couple of make up brands, and it was amazing - I would always just pick the girls who had the "natural" look I was aiming for rather than the "caked on" look that many of them sport.....
Also, this way, if you don't like it, it hasn't cost you anything at all!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
