Erm... after my post yesterday about how I'm never going to use it, I was in boots this morning and picked up another copy thinking I might get a different one too
I did put it down again, but am now thinking I would actually use that product so maybe I should get it.

Hi all
Will be back with a full update over the next couple of days. Had the joy of a delayed train on the way home so am very late going to bed *yawn* and after the palaver the other day had to make sure i got my reports written up
Erm some small frittering may have taken placebut its all been jotted down in my trusty book ready to be noted up on here - does it sound like i'm trying to justify it if i say it was most bargainous
Got e-bay parcels to post tomorrow 7 MS's 2 or 3 shifts of p/t work and some essential purchases which will involve a trip to town- batteries have run out on camera so these need replacing and i took the plunge - or rather i didn't after discovering that my swimsuit does not fit
:( so that'll be one of those going on the credit card then :(:o - will be the cheapest one i can find and will just say to OH its one i've had for ages
:o:o can't face telling him it doesn't fit as i am not getting any positive encouragement on the whole weight loss thing
At least with all spends and extra income noted down i can try and find out where my money is scarpering to :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
yawn!
How did it get to this time already?
So far today have:~
Done 3 shifts at p/t work
Shopping for essentials as noted yesterday but not all done yet
1 MS
Dusted and vacuumed upstairs, hall, stairs and landing - picking OH's washing up off the floor on the way - i mean, its not hard is it
Re-scheduled 1 MS and trying to reschedule 4 more - feeling less than chipper at the mo.
Packed and posted e-bay parcels
Done 1 free bingo part way through 2nd
Moved shopping
Had a panic about not knowing where the instructions are for my dress and then went through every possible place it could and could not be before finding them! Its one of those dresses which is material put together in some nifty way which means i can wear the same dress but in totally different styles :T having found said instructions have duly run off a copy
Now for a cuppa, a phone call and a catch up before tacking washing and living room and thinking about the next MS

So washing is on
MS's successfully shuffled over to tomorrow
and have my cuppa :coffee:
The bad news is that as it is this time of day any repeat prescription requests won't be ready until Tuesday - when i can't pick it upReally didn't need the unsympathetic response from the receptionist though telling me i should have done it sooner. No, really? - i realise that now but when you are spending just about every waking minute of the day thinking about how to get rid of a load of debt thinking about ordering tablets that are making no difference whatsoever to your illness really isn't at the forefront of your mind is it?! Oh dear - think i need to have a minute
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Actually though this relates to one of the things i wanted to pop on here so i can gain some clarity / advice. Time management anyone? I am currently popping all the things i need to do in my diary and then ticking them off as i go along or carrying them over into the next day. But i need to try and organise my time so that OH isn't seeing me always thinking of ways to get some money together. We are still having a difficult time of things and it will help if i can do these things when he's not around to witness it - it is hard as inevitably the best time to list on e-bay is at the weekend when he's in and even though he's busy with something else the fact that i'll do something on the comp did come up in a row- totally unjustified i know but i do want to be a person who can manage things easily even when its juggling 2 jobs, MS's, all the housework and everything else. So it is to do with living the life i want to.

Confessions of a spendy person being spendy
Well, I set off extra, extra early to do the MS's I had lined up on Tuesday as 1 of them could take up to an hour and whilst on the train i got a call cancelling this bigger MS
So being near the shops i realised i needed to buy some new tights - down to 1 pair now so being MSE opted for the £1 a pair which are almost as good as the £5.50 a pair i usually buy and got 4 pairs. But then i spotted a sale on socks and i am in need of some - especially with the running i've been doingand at 50p a pair i was mightily happy and bought 14 pairs - 4 pairs of which are for a gift.
Then I headed into another shop which I have a voucher for but didn't use this and spent some money and went back in again and spent some more
Tuesday Spends:-
£3.60 train
£3.99 MS will be re-imbursed
£11.00 - tights and lots and lots of socks
£6.00 (over 2 visits) on 2 summer scarves, reduced from £14 to £1 each, 1 pair of gloves £1 reduced from £12 and 1 neclace £3 - reduced from £12.50
£4.00 MS will be re-imbursed
Tuesday extra income
£8 MS fees
Also i still managed to refrain from buying any of those magazines

Hey DDFW,
Have you tried Turbolister? I can't remember. You can list whenever you want and then upload at the time you need it. It's brill.
Alternatively, one thing I have heard people trying is listing things through ebay, then doing them as a scheduled listing for a time a couple of weeks in the future. Then, when they want the listings to start, they cancel the schedule and list them immediately. It apparently avoids the scheduled listings fee as long as you change it before it is scheduled. I've never tried this myself, but it supposedly works and might be worth a go, especially before a free listing weekend when turbolister isn't included.
My DH gets a bit fed up when I'm always on the computer too (as do I!). I try and fit a lot in at lunchtime and also in the morning before I go to work. Then I try and have the evening away from the computer. (Doesn't always work - see!) I also try to get as much done on the moneysaving front during the week - ebay listings etc, so I can try and have a bit of a breather at the weekend.
Saying that though, you fit so much into your days, I'm not sure how you can claim you are not very good at time management!!
With regards to the prescriptions - is there a supermarket or pharmacy near you that does prescription collections? It might be worth signing up to one of these so you order the prescription, they collect it, and you pick it up at your convenience. It's helpful for example to be able to collect one outside of office hours rather than having to collect when your doctors surgery is open."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". *Whispers* I bought another copy of glamour
Remind me why I'm in debt again? :wall::mad:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
But thats the thing jwil - if you will use them they are so much cheaper than buying the full size version and it is nice to get a bargain so you are saving moneyCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000

Hiya allWell i've not been around for a few days and i won't be around over the next few days so thought i'd best stop by
Illness stopped play for me yesterday - was feeling dreadful and exhausted Friday but persevered then Saturday had a huge lie-in, got up but was soon back in bed and slept the day away  I must've needed it but it has left rushing around like a rushing around thing today trying to get all my jobs done
Currently have 2nd load of washing in whilst 1st load drys. Moved some clothes back into wardrobe that i'd lifted out to try on when i did my big clear out - they fit! :T:T:T but will look alot better once this weight is off  so will keep pushing away with my exercise - added to the running i will be starting swimming and a fitness class - next week for these folks so please nudge me if i don't post to say how i went on. Oh, decided against buying a new costume - will just have to look squeezed into this one for abit until the swimming and running start to pay off:cool:
So need to move ladders that OH has lifted out and left stood in the middle of the room  also need to vacuum - again! Wash rest of pots, ensure all sides are cleaned down in kitchen. Move all stuff i've not yet organised on the landing. Organise my bag, sort out tomorrows MS's - just sorted out 3 of them and have another 2 to sort out  Oh and must shower and wash my hair and paint my toe-nails...Jwil - thank-you so much for all your advice and support as everrepeat prescriptions are definitely something i could look into once my medication balances out - thing is i should have been at the doctors this week but couldn't get an appointment so will be there in 2weeks time instead. Whilst i keep having to go to the docs it hadn't even occured to me about doing a repeat prescription.
Also turbolister is one of those things i've heard about which sound fab but i have no idea where to start with it:think: so any advice will be muchly appreciated
Have been quite firm with OH this last couple of days in regards spending money - this is on things for both of us where OH manages to do a disappearing act just as we get to the till or does a fab impression of someone looking off into distance/in a trance leaving me fumbling in my purse to pay for things that I can ill afford and probably didn't help with the present debt situation for me to begin with. At one place I asked him straight away for the money before going to the till - we paid half each - poor guy was in shock and i think sulked a bit for the rest of the day. At the next place i said straight away 'i do not have the money for all these things' again we paid half each. I think OH's view is that it is not much money £10 here and £20 there but it is alot especially when i'm the one who always ends up paying for these things. And yes i would to be in a position to just pay for stuff - but it seems to have become a trend for us and needs to be stopped now.
Right - will move ladders as i head into kitchen to make a cuppa :coffee: and will then continue with sorting out my bag and then do rest of pots - will try and pop back laterCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Am back
- moved ladders [STRIKE]but not vacuumed - think i've decided to delay that[/STRIKE] scratch that - couldn't face going to bed knowing it was yet another job to do tomorrow so just got that done :T washed all pots except the cups we're using now
organised 1/2 the stuff on the landing and also 1/2 my bag - can't you tell i'm a bit of a butterfly - just get easily distracted :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: oh and cleaned down half the worktops in the kitchen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Not touched the 2 remaining MS's - maybe 1 to do after shower and painting toenails
So before shower clean down remaining parts of kitchen, clean vase and maybe organise bag a little more and then shower. Can't get in just yet as i have put all of our towels in the wash and am now waiting them drying  Meanwhile have a cuppa and weighing up remaining jobs to do and what i still need to put in my bag and what i can get away with not having on me
Got lots going on in my mind - plans for things mainly which i need to put down onto paper and then post on here when i can make sense of it all :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
