Phew! Nearly there, just got those MS's to sort out. But think i'm going to have an early night - not sure what was wrong with me the last couple of days but have had a very upset tummy this evening
Feeling good about all my organising activities - landing almost clear, bag almost organised, so just a few bits to sort out in the morning but an early start should ensure that everything is in orderCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Drat! Have had to cancel MS's for tomorrow - far too poorly to do anything more than the minimum necessary
Also should be in bed by now but having decided to paint my toe nails they are taking forever to dry  Goodness knows why i didn't just leave them
Oh well - catching up on some tv whilst they lose their tackiness
In good news i have been adding to my boiler fund :T but not added onto total - just noted it down each time i add money in - so something to do when i post again
Hope it has been a good weekend for everyoneCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hope you are feeling better today DDFW. Take care of yourself.
Turbolister is really easy to use. It's an ebay programme so you download it from there. (I can't check for the link at the mo as I can't get on ebay here). I'll try and remember to find it when at home.
Once you've downloaded it, you link it to your ebay account (you can do this for more than one account), and then you can do your listings from there and upload them from there. The good thing is that you put all information for a listing in on one page which speeds it up. You do not need to be connected to the internet to use it (except for when you want to upload). You can set up templates which are really handy when you have lots of similar things to sell.
You can do a lot more with it, but I only use it for basic listings. I just do the listing as and when, and then when the time comes for uploading, it will do the whole lot in one go.
The only thing is, you can't use it on a free listing day - you will get charged for your listings as normal."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi all
I was far too poorly yesterday to update - thought i was just tired but was very ill all night - will be going to the doctors to see if i can get something to help as i barely got 2 hours sleep last night
Jwil - thanks for the turbolister advice - will definitely look into that
Well, quite a few good intentions for me today - just trawled the job site but nothing there for me to apply for
So today - will e-mail tutor and get on with my work
Work on CV
Make sure enough is in my account for DD's
List 1 new item on e-bay
I am also starting my declutter tally again - instead of 1 thing a day i'm going to aim for 365 things altogether - today i have 1 book for listing for sale, 2 books for the carboot pile and a top and skirt to be added to the carboot pile :T so thats 5 things alreadyCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Well have listed book for sale
Banking and DD status checked, expecting some money to arrive in my account any day now from MS's - when it does I'll know what the shortfall is
- it should be £60 or less that i'll need to scrape together over the next week.
Still to go:~
e-mail tutor & study

Hope you are feeling better DDFW.
Well done on the decluttering! I've been keeping a tally the last couple of weeks, but haven't posted it yet."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Just wanted to pop on a post of the direction i'm aiming for at the mo.
I'm looking at overhauling alot of my life - something i've been thinking about for a while i guess. So not just thinking about losing weight but also eating healthily, exercising more so that i am not just slimmer but am in physically good shape and feel fitter in myself if that makes sense? With this in mind i'm booked in for swimming this weekend and next and also a zumba class next week
I am also now having my hair done regularly - something i gave up but now pay less than half what i used to pay and am very happy with it - no different than the expensive salon - wish i'd found someone this good years ago  The other thing is that i'd like some tutorials on how to style my hair - it is always either tied up (not a great look for me) or left loose i'd just like to do something nicer with it 0 it is long enough for this...
I am having a make-over/tutorial on Friday - do have to pay £10 for this but if they find me a good foundation and show me how to pop this on properly it'll be well worth it. I always cleanse and moisturise and am now adding toner to my routine and am looking to wear a little more make-up everyday
I also want to do things everyday that i enjoy - or at least one thing - i'm not talking major stuff here - maybe just enjoying reading, a short walk etc.
I need to catch up with my studies as it is something i enjoy.
I am looking for a new job - looking on jobsite and working on my cv and hopefully the studies will help with this.
I want to pick up my spanish or german again - something i do enjoy
I also want to pick up playing the piano - again something i enjoy.
Finally a want to lead a simpler life - with less clutter and where there isn't a big build up of things that need sorting out / clearing / filing
Now the debts are holding me back with some of these things as i would love to leave work - or work different hours - 3 hours commute (round trip and if all transport runs on time) and not getting home until 10pm is not conducive to all i want to achieve.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Quick update:~
1 pair of pants thrown away - these had been my gardening pants so very tatty meaning no good for re-sale at carboot etc. and material completely wrong for making into rags
1 mini perfume still in box (was free) - put in gift box for a larger hamper type gift i'm putting together
1 jumper for car boot
1 hat for car boot
1 cotton bag for car boot
1 unwanted / unused gift for carboot
1 hands warmer given away
2 items ready to list on e-bay
Will now go and update my total
Oh yes, with the changes i'm making in my life all of these things take time - just like the debt - as much as i'd like it too it won't just go, i'll need to work for it and this is just the same with everything else

Well done on the decluttering!
I read something interesting over the weekend in an old New Scientist - it is more important to be fit than slim. A study found that overweight people who were fit were much healthier in various tests than normal weight people who were unfit.
So it sounds like exercise is the way to go! I'm tempted to get the Zumba game for the Wii and give it a go. It looks great fun, but I don't want to go to a class just yet."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
